These players, 'the best in the League', are clearly not in the right frame of mind at present. I wonder if Liebherr's passing had anything to do with it? Lambert and Fonte, perhaps our key players, are out of form, and we have little creativity in midfield. What is Hammond? Granted he's a central midfielder, but is he attacking or defensive? From what I've seen of him, I'm still not sure. We're all frustrated at present, but I have confidence in Adkins to sort it out.

No Lallana, No Barnard, no Waigo, No Antonio, No Luck, No Cutting Edge, Good Players out of form, No Hope. Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiings, can only get better.... .....right?

Wish we could play football like Arsenal. We just play Arse.

I wish I could be playing out there. I can create something out of nothing. (I once found a fiver in my jeans that I'm sure I never put there...)

We'll up this. We have to. Do it for the gaffer, do it for the fans, WIFM.

Wish they'd make it count!

Strachan didn't win his first game but a very entertaining 3-3 draw against Ipswich I think it was was ok by me. Looking forward to tonight whatever happens, I just hope the performance is better.

This guy never missed ANY penalties for us...

The more I read about him the more I like the sound of him. Our only priority is to get the hell out of this shytehole of a league. He has showed he can do that. Ignore the Championship for now, when we do get back there, we'll really see if Adkins has what it takes. Unlike Scunny, we won't be strapped for resources. The team as it stands needs some attacking additions, frees or loans. Adkins will see that, I hope to see one or two names brought in.

The "I'm only going to MK on Wednesday if we've got a new manager" Thread
SNSUN replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
You had to wait under two hours for your wish to come true. Now can you please say you'll only go if Lallana is playing, we need him back! -
3 year deal could mean expensive compo at the end of the season! (Joke, don't get tetchy) I'm in full support of this appointment. I don't know too much about Adkins, askide from his obvious managerial achievements, but it's clear our first team need a captain to steer the ship - we MUST get the team performing again, to a level we all know they can. We need to pick up the few remaining good freebies and/or utilise the loan window to bolster the attack. I hope, and trust, Adkins can see the flaws in our squad and does something about it. Cortese must back his choice with whatever is needed. We're a working progress, I don't expect immediate results on Wednesday, but I would appreciate the team upping their performance in support of their new gaffer. Fingers crossed we can stop the rot that has taken over this club in recent weeks, and move up the table to where we all feel we should be.

I don't eat breakfast, a cup of coffee suffices, but if I do have anything, it's Crunch Nut Bites.

Do you mean The Day Britain Stopped? Compelling viewing that, for a docu-drama. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_Britain_Stopped

I'd be suprised if anybody DIDN't remember tbf. Me, well I was 20 years old, working for a passenger boat company in Windsor as a crew. We were doing a trip from Windsor to Runnymede, with a boatload of American tourists on board. The trip had started as usual, it was our last job of the day so we were in good spirits, my skipper and I, as were the people on board. We got into Romney Lock, when the lockkeeper ran out to tell us that a plane had crashed into the WTC. Needless to say we didn't tell anyone on board, but stuck the little radio we had in the wheelhouse on, to listen to what was happening. After a somewhat speedy trip back to Runnymede, we emptied out, locked up the boat and I sped off home. I watched the rest on TV that night, I didn't even have any dinner I was so transfixed.

Rule One. (Yes I know I can look her up in teh net but I'm being lazy.)

I preferred it when we were the underdogs. I hate all this "favourites to win the league" crap.

We're not S****horpe. HTH. Put it this way - it can't get much worse...

If we don't get promoted this season, i'll be peed off. But, i'll be much more depressed at losing Fonte, Lallana, Lambert and Morgan. They won't stick around for another season. Then, sadly, we'll be back to square one, rebuilding a new team to push for promotion. We could be in League One a while yet. Over -dramatic, perhaps, but tinged with realism.

Come on, 1-1 lads, you know you want to...

If we win this, I'll wee in my bosses tea. I, too, would take a draw.
