    Bad News

I have had no bad news. My life rools.
  3. If we're still in with a fighting chance on the last day of the season, I will eat my granny. That said, another result like Preston's against Cardiff, and I might be more optimistic...

    Jobs

As my missus has found, jobs are few and far between at the moment. My missus loves work and hates being stuck at home, and as such was willing to try anything that was offered. In early December she started looking after her last temp job ended, and after joining 7 different employment agencies, she finally got a temp job in late January, after branching out to different places on the train line. Thank God I have a secure job, touch wood.
  5. I'll make the most of this scoreline so far but still think we'll go down. Too poor throughout the season. However, i always said relegation would be easier to take if we fought to stay up, and so far it's looking like we have some eight about us!
  6. I remember nothing. Alcohol has pickled my brain.
  7. Disappointed at the two I've tried so far. Only subtle differences between already existing flavours. Builders breakfast is just Smoky Bacon in disguise, and Onion Bahji is Cheese and Onion with a stronger aftertaste. I'll stick to McCoys ta.
  8. That we didn't hit my prediction of a 3-0 loss speaks volumes about our progress. :-)
  9. If it's in the People, then it's probably shyte, but I do like the sound of looking for a right back. This problem, however, should have been addressed at the start of the season, not 2/3rds of the way through it.
  10. Unless we can miraculously find form, we'll finish bottom. Not that I think we'll stay up, but if we can string a couple of wins together then we won't be propping up the league. My prediction is Saints 24th, Charlton 23rd and 22nd could be between Donny, Norwich and Barnsley.
  11. If we win this, I'll punch me missus in the bewb. Lose 3-0.
  12. No. Which is the really sad thing. We're nowhere near rock bottom yet. It's going to be a long ride.
  13. Dave gets more attention on Valentines Day than my missus.
  14. There will be no messages of love. As she washes up, I shall just bend her over, screw her, and get back to watching Top Gear.
  15. I have resigned myself to relegation for a long time now. As the season has progressed, the team has become weaker, but for me, the deciding factor was the home loss to Notts Forest before Christmas. One home win all season is relegation form, and only a miracle would save us now. I'm not too concerned with being in League One. Even with the youngsters, those we keep, I think we'll have a good enough team to ride it out, but what worries me is whether we'll be doing it with a points deduction. I must be mad, but I actually want us to hit rock bottom, so that the only way we can go is up. I just hope that rock bottom occurs in League One and not League Two or worse. If we do get relegated, and it doesn't look too rosy, one small consolation would be seeing Pompey go down too - not for rivallry reasons but because it'll give us something to play for next year in League One, playing against them in the CCC the following year!
  16. Annoyingly, and despite needing wins, especially at home, I would've taken a point last night. So close, yet so far. Relegation has been in the offing for ages, we just don't have the quality to stay in this division. Take administration, and cling on to any kind of hope we could possibly have in the next few years. Right now I would take just staying in league football, unlike Luton who were in this league two years ago and appear to be slipping out of professional football. As Holloway said last night, why did Euell and BWP start on the bench? We need all the experience we can get right now.
  17. With my mum it was usually a slipper or flip flop we got hit with, but with my dad it was usually his hand. That said, my dad rarely hit me as he was usually working.
  18. I resent it. I was very careful wording it. :smt088
  19. Friday - Supposed to be enjoying myself on the first day off of nine, but instead I find myself and getting paid twice as much for it. God bless overtime. Tonight I will be looking to get drunk. Tomorrow - Listen to the Saints game, chill out, but I'm sure my missus will make me go shopping at some point. Sunday - A day of relaxation as Sunday's should be spent. Nice. I predict this weekend should be a rating of 7/10, better than usual.
  20. I stole his virginity, so it's not the first thing I've nicked off him.
  21. I don't understand why it's illegal. They need loving too.
  22. When I was about 12, I video taped over some footage of my late uncle, the only footage my mother had of her brother. My dad lifted me up by wrist and threw me down in front of my mum and made me apologise. I didn't do it deliberately and needless to say I avoided them for a few days afterwards. I also once hit my mum, instinctively as she went to hit me for being naughty. It was the day she realised she couldn't discipline me that way anymore. For the record, I was a very good child, although I did spend 10 years at boarding school....
  23. Well, IMO we're still going down, but at least we're doing it with a fight. At 2-0 we could've been turned over. Pleased for McClaggon and good to see Saga once again on the scoresheet.
  24. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. All work and no play makes SNSUN a dull boy. 2/10
  25. Either that's a typo or we're more flush than we think!
