  1. "Arse", if it's a long enough belch.
  2. So he's live at the O2 in July. Are you of the opinion that it's a waste of time and money to see an aging kiddy fiddler strut his stuff on stage, or of the opinion that this is the last chance to see one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century perform? My missus reckons we should try to get tickets so that one day we can say, we saw him live. With all this registering for pre-sale and cost etc I'm not sure I can be arsed. What do you reckon?

Let's hope the Bent substitution proves costly. >> I'm not sure whether Charlton winning is a good or bad thing. On one hand it gives them hope, on the other hand it keeps Watford as part of the relegation scramble.

I can't get into the chatroom at work. Seems WebSense is being a bastard. So will have to use this forum as per usual. Well for the next 5 minutes at least, as then I'm back to work.
  5. Friday - Working today, quiet evening in with the missus. Saturday - Working til 7, then home ASAP in order to get down t'pub wiv me bredren for a Bday partay of drunken proportions. Oh, and Saints are doing something sporty. Sunday - Chilling, recovering, WEEK OFF. Brrrrap.
  6. We'll concede, but a draw isn't beyond us. Entertaining 3-3.
  7. If this is how we're going to continue playing under Wotte, then all the youngsters, not just DMG, will flourish long term. IMO
  8. Alternately we could win all 33 points left this season and achieve play-off status! By the way, is anyone else looking at Crystal Palace and thinking they could be dragged into it?
  9. I'll take a point. 4 wins in a row would be just super, but an unbeaten run is just as good. If anything, think of our Brum game as our game in hand, and it doesn't seem so bad.
  10. Tis most peculiar. I would have said before the Preston game, that our chance of survival would have come from stringing together wins against Blackpool, Charlton and Watford. Looking at recent form however, we should also be looking to beat the likes of QPR, Palace and even Wolves. A colleague of mine said that every team in this league can beat every other team, but this season, we had been so poor I didn't think it possible. Now it seems, we have turned a corner, and if we can keep the positive run coming, I don't see why we can't survive. My head still thinks the damage has been done. To win 3 on the bounce and still be in the zone shows how screwed we were. To lose at home to Forest before Christmas was, at the time I believed, the final nail in the coffin. Now however, we're playing football that dictates that we could go to Forest on the last day with a point to prove!
  11. Unbelieveable. There is no other word for it. I had the missus dragging me around Sainsburys during the game and found out the result from teletext. We're fighting, thus i'm happy!
  12. I signed Saeijs on Football Manager before Poortvliet did. I am the greatest manager in the world.
  13. If we really have turned a corner, I'd expect a draw from this game. A win may be too beyond us, Ipswich aren't exaxctly a bad team, but a draw I'd be happy with. 1-1
  14. I look at the table, and reckon no. 2 wins in a row is massive, but there's still a big gap to make up, and in addition we have to keep performing well until the end of the season. I'm glad the lads are making an effort now, it seems Wotte is doing something right, but ultimately I think the season as a whole until before the Preston game may have spelled our fate. That said, it's not out of the realms of impossibility, but head is currently ruling heart, unless we can string together some more good results. Ipswich and Brum away next? Not easy.
  15. I'm glad these have been answered. I was the bloke that though "Dimplex" was a type of condom.
  16. It was my phone's major malfunction. Didn't mean to post that 3 times!
  17. I want to meet this Lady Luck and knob her brains out. Unthinkable two games ago. Still doubtful for the season but still...

  20. Is the Preston result a flash in the pan, or can we pick up an unprecedented 6 points from two games and climb out the zone? IMO (and I started this season in such a positive frame of mind) it's the former. However a draw isn't out the question. 1-1.
  21. Friday - Sunday = Working lates. The monotony only broken by a Saints game and driving my new car around with teh missus in a show-off-despite-my-new-car-not-being-cool kinda way. Oh and shopping for food. Which rools becuz I doesn't pay for it. :-)
  22. Was once in a club when attacked by a dose of the squits. Found myself in this dive of a toilet which no human in their right mind would have sat on, hovering over to empty my arse cavity. No toilet roll in sight, I improvised using my handkerchief and the inner tube of a toilet roll that had been left, before opening the window behind and chucking both items out. I hadn't realised that below was an outside drinking area. Needless to say I hastily made for the exit.
  23. My favourite kit was also blue, think it was the 3rd kit in around '98.
  24. No, she's alive. It's up to SFC to change that.
  25. I've just bought a nearly new (08 ) Peugeot 207, which I think is a good looking car. Some of my colleagues disagree and think it's hideous. What do you guys think?
