That was my very next post!!! According to Sky Sports online, our key player today is Adam Lallana. It's no suprise that since he came back, our form has got better. Quite simply THE player we have to keep hold of in the Jan window.
-
It's a shame that we couldn't have capitalised on it from the start of the season - we had the quality to run away with this league, and looking at how other teams have done so far, had we started better, that quite easily could have been the case. There, that's my negative first post of the day done with, on with the positivity. Woot.

Was thinking about this the other day. Which other players did we have on our books that should have achieved more but for injuries? David Hughes is an obvious one. Any others?

Arcade! Whoop whoop, work lulls will never be boring again! -
It's easy to see a win here, but I'm still not confident of the fluidity of our attacking play. We've improved under Adkins, that's plain to see, but beat Bournemouth with two set pieces. In the prediction league, I went with a nil nil, but i'll go with my heart tomorrow and say 2-0.
-
Ah, but firstly, would anyone want Lallana and Pulls in a double deal, and secondly, would anybody believe it was Pulls that cost £5 million?!? Ok, Stoke might...

I invoke my right to a rule one. Of both. For comparison/spanking purposes.

Like a clingy ex-girlfriend, he'll be back, as unwanted and useless as ever.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge, either that or I'm just clever.

My missus is from Norwich and I was desperate to send her back. You should've given me the cash! Seriously though, I'm sure begging is on the rise, this is why I always have a separate twenty pence in a pocket different from my other change, and why I often carry an empty ten deck of fags around with me, scrunched up. This way if someone wants change, I say I only have twenty pence, and if someone asks for a fag, I say I've just run out. Skinflint? Perhaps, but I'm not made of money. That said, if someone's genuinely in distress, I would always help out.
-
Graham Potter? I occasionally think some players have played for Saints that haven't, I blame the early editions of Championship Manager for that!
-
I would cheat on my missus, purely because I know she's the stable, clingy type that would stay with me no matter what I do. Trouble is, I'm a fat, ugly, lazy turd of a man, so finding someone to cheat with is nigh on impossible. (One, or both, of those statements may not be true.)

Wouldn't that give you a hot knob?

On a semi-unrelated note, I went on a holiday to Kavos a few years ago and on the first night, after a marathon drink up, we went to one of the takeaway joints for some munch. The guy serving was possibly the worst behaved, rudest and most foul mouthed man in all of Kavos, no word of a lie, and I have to say I found it hilarious. There was no end to his barrage of abuse, everyone that went in copped a string of expletives, C--t seemed to be his favourite word of choice. My mate and I went back nearly every night of the week to see what would come out of his mouth next. We asked one of our reps, who said that he hated tourists with a vengence, because more often than not they would cause trouble in the establishment. Still, I found it funny, and he did make a mean burger. (Though God knows what he put in it if he hated us that much...)

Does dating Abby Clancy validate him though? Granted, he's got a set of choppers that only a mother could love, but she must see something in him, besides his money, height and massive schlong...

It's my 30th birthday drink up this evening, despite not turning 30 for another ten days. Oh, and I don't want to turn 30.

Weird, I pay more for my prostitutes to be shaved bald down there, the opposite must apply in football. -
Oh absolutely, and I'd probably feel right at home at Fratton Park, what with the shyte crowds they get! I'm definitely over the phobia though, I went to the Saints Pompey game at SMS last season and the full house didn't bother me (unlike the scoreline), and then I went to Wembley for the JPT final which, while an overwhelming stadium in terms of size, didn't faze me at all.
-
Antti Niemi made it back to the south coast, took a wrong turning, and ended up fleecing Pompey out of half a million quid.

Looks great, I'm always looking for word of mouth places to go, and I do use trip advisor, but for budgetary reasons I don't go on many holidays, usually it's once every two years and even then it's mostly in England. That said, we went to Camp De Mar in Majorca last year and had a great time, the area is a little secluded for those that fancy some nightlife, but I can't fault the hotel for customer service, food and accomodation. We were thinking of going away in November for some winter sun, but decided to save up a bit more and have a summer holiday next year instead. I'll definitely check this place out.

Ooh that reminds me, I can't watch that programme "Embarassing Illnesses". I don't want to see what other people have wrong with them, it makes me sick. Fungal toe infections et al, are a no no. And yet, I don't mind my OWN body, I've had eczema since I was 12 and I don't bat an eyelid. My missus infrequently gets eczema, and I don't go near her. Quite WHY people want to display their problems on national TV baffles the hell out of me.
-
I used to be mildly agoraphobic, it's one of the reasons I avoided Saints games for years, it wasn't a phobia of being outside as such, just being around big crowds. I've always been happier indoors, big crowds used to make me nervous. I'm over it now, and I'm bloody glad I did, as I made it to 13 Saints games last year and two this season so far. I can't think of any other fears I have, my missus on a rampage perhaps...

Morgan has had two assists in two games and Hammond apparently had a good game too. What with Guly coming on and making an impression, I know I wouldn't want Adkins' job at the moment, that midfield is beginning to look a lot better. Feeling positive about the Bournemouth game now, even if Chappers doesn't play.
