Why "Old" People Shouldn`t Use Facebook!
SNSUN replied to miserableoldgit's topic in The Muppet Show
The other day, I found out my dad was on Facebook. He's 61. He doesn't know how to use it properly either, I know his password and his page was all over the place. He doesn't know that I know that he's on there, and I sure as hell aren't going to let him be my friend. (Stuff I don't want parents to see or hear about, even at 28!) To be fair, I think he's sick of my mum and is trying to track down some childhood sweethearts, but that's just specualtion. (Oh, and I wouldn't be suprised, my mum is a pain in the arse.) -
There are far too many feral kids and young adults in Britain at the moment. If you saw a feral animal, you'd put it down, why can't we do that with this lot?!!? It's quite often the parents that should get the blame, from an early age these kids are ignored by the parents and they go out and mingle with troublemakers. I saw a documentary about this lady who didn't care about her children, she shared her alcohol with them, shared her fags with them, let them do whatever they wanted basically. The kids were going out, tearing up the neighbourhood, jumping up and down on cars etc. It took threat of eviction and a fine to get the mother to start telling her kids off. Shocking. I'm not a parent yet, but so help me God as far as possible when I have kids I will make sure they grow up to be respectful, well rounded individuals. Or so help them!

No, tis so I can hear him in case he tries to steal my lunch.

I wondered why he was off the screens! His replacement in the evening football slot was poor. It's good to have a Saints rep at SSN, long may he continue.

We're not stupid like Notts County. While I don't know the terms of the deal, his contract must be for a hell of a lot of money for anyone outside the Premiership, and as such, if their rich owner pulls out of the team next summer, they have a 36 year old with a very expensive 4 year contract to do something with. Granted, it'd be nice to bring in one or two high profile names, but they come at a cost and, quite frequently, aren't willing to put in 100% for their wages.

Thomas played there a bit when we were in the championship, but it's either James or we sign someone new or get a loan in. Shame because Musty was one of the first names on the team sheet.
-
Trouble is, unless we sign a new right back to cover Musty's injury, James is back there. Still, got Hammond.

Arse. Come on Saints, head up. =

Deadline's Tuesday 5pm. Monday is Bank Holiday for everyone. (Except me, and other poor suckers)

"Wotton shot"? I thought the Beeb were reporting that someone had 'offed' him...
-
I don't think we would - especially not at SMS. If Distin goes tomorrow or Thursday, I'd love to try out our team vs their team. (Albeit it would be better if Trotman and Hammond weren't tied.)
-
Lordy if Murty is out for a long time, that means another right back on the shopping list. CB, RB, LM, RM, ST, ST. Six signings in a week? (In Macauley Culkin-esque fashion) "I don't think so".
-
Hell I hope they don't go in extra time tonight. I should be doing some work, and my shift finishes at half ten...
-
Funnily enough, I have a similar problem - all food I eat turns to shyte.
-
35 minutes to go yet, TDD. Big confidence boost if we win though. Birmingham may have injury troubles but they still have a strong team out there tonight...
-
Meh, he's rubbish. Drop him.
-
I'd still take him with bells on.

I was trying to tune my work radio into Upton Park Supervisor's frequency but I don't think it works. Sadly. I never get any action at Heathrow. :smt019

Make it count lads! Let's get one before half time, a Wotton long ranger. :-D
-
Picquionne having a good game for Pompey. Apparently scored a wonder goal and has just got an assist for their second. Mock him no more - it's giving him a will to play well!
-
You slightly beat me to it there...
-
Delays on the District Line (I'm stuck at work). Apparently Upton Park Tube station is taking it from all angles tonight - the Millwall fans have attacked the West Ham fans with whatever they can get their hands on. Not much of a suprise really. Apparently the Police attempt to make them use seperate exits backfired...

It's done to fool the tourists. Which isn't too much of a stretch tbf.
