Oi, that's my line. To be fair, if we sign him, we already have a song for him. (Thank you Black Lace.)

We're not mowing it. We're letting it grow long so that, during pre-season training, we get plenty of practice on shyte pitches - which should do us well at crappier stadiums. Then, as the season commences, we'll be mowing a line into the pitch, one a month, in installments through the season.
-
We'll lose 7-1 to Colchester, then turn our season around. No wait, that was Norwich. I would like the toughest possible test away as our first game - whatever happens we can put it to the back of our minds. Sheffield Wednesday or the like, away, and we'll draw. 3-3.

I'm 29. This thread makes me feel good. -
Thank God I'm only the latter...

Different Ownership and Managment, same old summer

There is not a chance we will start pre-season training without at least one recognised right back being brought in, so I've got no worries about the lack of goings on at SMS yet. Patience is a virtue, It's pleasant to have very little going on at our club after a few seasons of unrest. -
This is a question better asked and answered the day before the first game of the season - we don't know who will be brought to League One yet by any team, but as it stands now, you simply can't look past our front two. I'm not sure Barnard will play enough games to get a decent goal tally. I think he's a good, hardworking player, with a keen eye for goal, but if Pards opts to play the 4-5-1 more often than not, then it's Barnard that will be the sacrifice. Lambert for me.

"The club are also looking for centre-backs and a striker in a similar mould to Lambert." We could do worse than pester Huddersfield and try and sign Jordan Rhodes, it'd continue our vein of trying to sign other clubs' best players. I wasn't too impressed with him at SMS (or of any of their players tbf), but his goal record doesn't lie.

I had to Wiki that - you learn something every day.

That's not a superpower - all of the Portsmouth fans can do the same...

In truthfulness, I did check with We Buy Any Car.com as to how much I could get for my car. They want to financially rape me, beat me up, then steal my car. How they get ANYONE to sell their cars to them, with those shocking valuations, is beyond me.

He's the warm up act. It gets pretty cold in there...

I thought it said Beanburger. Which to a massive carnivore like myself, sounds disgusting.

Looks good, a cheaper, nearly identical looking version of the old style Audi TT, only slightly better. As a Peugeot driver, I can't really fault them currently, their new stuff is miles better than their old stuff. I can see this becoming a "ladies" car though, perfect for your other half perhaps...

...and, in turn, proved that even the English Man Utd fans need a translator...

Quarter Finals, France vs England, lose 2-1, ball bounces in off Anelka's willy for the first, Henry palms it in for the second. England and Republic of Ireland fans riot against each other as to whom was more hard-done-by by Henry's cheating. Consolation goal scored by Terry, who then picks up a groin injury that'll rule him out of football action for two months, and out of bedroom action for a year.

Ooh that's rotten luck! Incidentally, my girlfriend's work are doing one, and she got Uruguay. As bonus winnings though, they are also paying out on the first team to have a player sent off, and the first team to score in the tournament. (Whoever has Mexico could be rolling in cash.)

Some adverts are good. Some adverts are shyte. The sooner they do away with adverts and have product placement instead in soaps and the like (which I try to avoid where possible anyway), the better. Oh, and the new We Buy Any Car sponsorship trailers on Dave are just awful. Bring back the Halfords ads, even if they were so repetative I wanted to harm my other half.

I'm typing this with my knob. I can do 45 words a minute. I translated this talent to playing the piano and will be appearing at the Royal Albert Hall in August.

Is your workplace doing a World Cup sweepstake, if so what are the prizes and what do you win? This is a slightly gloating thread, as I got Argentina, and winner gets £100, with a £5 entry fee. I feel sorry for my mate, who got North Korea.

Scientists in Sweden have come up with a solution to life's problem of what to do when you don't like what people say on a messageboard. ww.bbc.co.uk/thisisafakelink FWIW I like the drama. Tis like our very own soap opera.

Rio - good player, minor loss. They'll call up Dawson, who won't get a look in anyways, and start King.

I live in the White House. It's white. It's not a house though, it's a cottage, so really we're lying to the neighbours.

It's definitely dropping. It's not as cheap as Hampshire round my way, but Esso has 117.9 on the Southern Perimeter Road at Heathrow, which is the cheapest I've seen for a while.
