  1. I'd tap the girl that breaks the handle of her mug, but aside from that I can't stand them either. Murder them all, but keep her as a sex slave. (SNSUN would like to point out that he does not endorse the killing of advert actors at all, keeping one for sex slavery though is borderline.)
  2. Toughie, there are some good TV games in there, Brighton vs FCUM could easily be one, Crawley vs Swindon too. I wonder if ITV will show more than one? Cheltenham is a good tie, whilst I'd love a non-League side, which is something we rarely ever get, I always worry about cocking it up against them. With one division's difference between us and Cheltenham, a cupset wouldn't be tooooooo bad. That said, the way we're winning games at the moment, I'm confident we can win this.
  3. Lallana's more attacking IMO, but Surman's left foot is better. In summary, I think the answer is porridge.
  4. My missus has - I had my earphones in when Connolly scored and yelled a bit too loudly...
  5. But WHAT a 25 seconds!
  6. Unbe-flucking-lievable finish! W00t for COnnolly. Looking forward to the highlights!
  7. Connolly is my god
  8. Wooottttttttttttttttttttttttttt
  9. I reckon it'd have been a bit more had it been a Sunday game. (At least plus one...) Woot for boobs.
  10. My word we're a bit boobless today. A very boobless match thread. I'm disappointed with the lack of boobs on this thread. Or nuns, or weather reports. Please rectify this in the second half. Ta, yours sincerely, me.
  11. Obladi, Oblada, life goes on, whoaaaaaa, ohhhhhhhhhhh life goes on. Meh, that's what I think of when the taters mention the Shrews player...
  12. We struggle to defend corners. Lordy knows why, Time to buy a bunch of seven footers.

Got the Shrews commentary now. Makes a farce of their 14 day free trial - if they want people to start paying for this service, they're doing a pretty naff job of it. That said, I'll keep paying. It's handy for those games I can't get to, even if the commentary could be from any of the 92 football league clubs.

Now it's just the Bournemouth commentary. Just me?

I've got a headache. Two commentarys does not equal twice the value.
  16. Ja, das ist richtig.
  17. Many, though not all, Man U fans are glory supporters anyway, certainly a lot of the younger generation who have known Man U only as a title-winning, or potential title-winning, side. Ok, a few of the die hard fans that converted to FCUM fans will stick to their guns, but it's no suprise that many would rather be supporting a team that wins 90% or so of their games, than one stuck in the nether regions of English football. I don't agree with the point behind FCUM anyway, your team is your team, no matter who is in charge and what is happening to the club. It's a tad petty running off and founding your own club, IMO. If a club goes out of business and starts again in non-League, that'd be acceptable, as it's technically still your club, (a similar thing happened to Slough Town when they were in the Vauxhall Conference), and I understand the frustrations of the Wimbledon fans having their club moved miles away starting their own league, but with FCUM I'm not sure. Protest, sure, but is starting a whole new team necessary? I doubt it.
  18. Again, I mean. :-) He's a quality strike short of goalscoring confidence - his strike against Daggers that went over the bar would probably have gone in last season, had he sunk it, it's most likely have started a run of form for him. It'll come, fortunately we have another striker that can poach goals. Barnard and Lambert are a good combo up front, and with Lallana they make a potent attacking threat.
  19. If we get promoted this season, I'm confident in keeping our better players, but keeping them a further season would depend on direct promotion to the Premiership. I can't see it happening sadly (promotion to the Premiership at the first attempt I mean), so instead of worrying about losing the quality younger players eventually, I'll just think about how good they are for us now.

Very impressive for a League One player!
  21. You've swung me. Adkins for MOTM.

    Dilema

Stay put. You're 26, having a loving girlfriend in your life as it stands is far more important than furthering your career. You have 40 odd years to try furthering your career, other oportunities will come along. I turned 30 recently, and while I've never made much of my life career-wise, I don't think I could've turned 30 without the love of a good woman. Mind you, that's just my opinion - I like being comfortable in a relationship. Do what's in your heart, but I know I'd rather look back on my life knowing I gave up a good job opportunity than a good woman.
  23. Whilst I do agree, irrespective that none of us were alive 125 years ago, it was still part of our history. I started supporting Saints in '89, but I still study up on the years before that. It's akin to people 'celebrating' Guy Fawkes night, none of us were alive but we still celebrate it. Ok, I just read that back and it doesn't quitre make sense, but you can see the logic in it... :-)
  24. Whilst I couldn't make the game on Tuesday due to illness, even on the highlights it showed Richardson getting forward twice, and whipping in a good ball for one of them. He's been out for ages, but he'll come good. I saw him play for Leeds and he looked promising then - and this is the League One right back of the season from last year, he can't go bad overnight. I agree though that if Butterfield is fit (which he hasn't been), then play him in the more important games, until Richardson gets up to speed, but Richardson will become out permanent right back IMO.
  25. He's a better than average right back, but Richardson is the future. Butterfield is solid at the back, but Frazer supposedly is too, and Frazer has the edge in attack. We're lucky, we've gone from plugging right back gaps last season with Semi, Thomas, James and Murty to having two good right backs.
