Good pitch Pitch is vital to entertainment. IMO there should be minimum standards of which many are below IMO, these clubs should be forced to re turf mid season if not up to scratch.

NC invited mlt to the jpt final as a guest of the club, which he declined and did not mince his words when replying. Matt attended the final as we know at work in the end. I was not slagging Matt in anyway - if he wants to tell cortese to **** off that's his prerogative which we are all entitled to. I do not know how their feud began but I do know Matt is a friendly guy & fiercely loyal to his friends as I'm sure many on here are. But I like a balanced argument, though I have heard 2nd hand info which portrays nc as not the nicest person, on that occasion he at least made an effort and might not be as stubborn as some thought.

It's a private & domestic matter IMO. I love mlt & fb but think nc has done a good job so far. I sit somewhere in the middle, I know for fact that cortese tried to build bridges with mlt and was told to get ****ed. So clearly it's not just cortese being a tyrant

I have no problem with Bournemouth inviting whoever they want to the game. I think its a nice touch that they have invited LM & MLT. I guess it all depends how much stock they have left I guess. I'm not a big fan of the away either, but items with no sponsor on will always be very popular.

Correct the home shirt will definately NOT be reduced & I think the away is very unlikely to be too. Some of the leisurewear is nearly sold out & will not be replenished so unlikely to be much if any reduced too.

Good post Duncan, As you know in the main I am a Cortese fan, but he is not untouchable. Other than the kit which IMO was a great idea - The 125 year celebration has been a complete non event and this falls at the feet of Cortese IMO. Dinner, a marquee celebration match perhaps, museum etc etc could and should have been done to celebrate this milestone. There are some very personal issues here which I would love to see resolved but I cannot see it to be honest - Too many egos. When he came in Cortese said that Southampton had a histrory of politics destroying it but he would see that this would stop. It hasn't.

To be fair he is totally right. How about a balanced view, we did very well today - especially in defence & midfield - lambo & Barnard a little too quiet but worked hard.
