What a horrible day. It seems that the hot air of the last few days of speculation have mearly masked the reality which I feared on wednesday. With hindsight & given the exclusivity extension request rejection, I think pinnacle have been aware of all the main issues all week but have been working hard to resolve them but as they expected - ran out of time. The fat lady has not sung yet but I think we are all feeling pretty desperate tonight, let's hope they can resolve things early next week. More pulling on the heart strings awaits.

I am feeling a little more upbeat as it appears there has been no negative whispers on here today. Other than the KK speculation I think it's fair to assume that no news is good news. Hopefully they are back on track but I am back in the dark today with regards to any updates in terms of completion. At this point the managerial speculation is a side show to me, I just really want pinnacle confirmed as owners asap or at least a positive official statement that they have got an extension agreed till tuesday as requested.

they have talked to a few people, if I had to put money on it I would speculate the other main contender is Shearer.

I would stress this is a strong rumour only, but have heard dowie has agreed to be 1st team coach & that he will be working with either keegan or shearer as manager if pinnacle can complete.

Exactly jm, From what I have heard yesterday, there is a real possibility that this could happen. I have heard pinnacle are looking for an extension till tuesday & that fry is playing hard ball & will not budge on the deadline. It is not too late & they are trying to resolve things but this could go into extra time & let's hope as usual mlt can curl one in to the top corner when we need it most. If anyone has an update on the above please post it for my sanity.

for a start mlt lives hedge end way (but moving soon), not bournemouth or ringwood as mentioned on here. Keegan I have only read on here, would be surprised - but I would not rule anything out as I know Pinnacle are ambitious. nineteen, the assumption that the investor is a household name in my opinion is a pure myth, it certainly is if the investor is who I believe it to be & I have seen some evidence. If & when it comes out right or wrong I will be honest either way. I think it is wise to keep the name out of the forum if possible. Perhaps I & others are giving the forum too much respect to it's influence, however we all know the club reads the forum & the media and TL. I think we all care too much to jepodise even if only 1% risk. Others are just sticking up for me perhaps because you speculate on my words rather than just ask a genuine question?

nineteen, my response was made to stu regarding Lloyd-Webber, Tabor. I believe the identity of the investor to be one in particular of the original 4, that is what I meant (I have said this before). I don't have/think/want a crown thank you, but if I have anything of value to add to the forum I will, especially if it is positive. My source is 1000% ITK but have not heard anything for a while, I have however had information from elsewhere which I trust.
