Would like pompey at home, though it would be very very tough If we could get a result though it would make our season

Has anyone heard any recent news or developments regarding the centenary? Especially given our most recent past, this is a big one as it looked for a while we would not have a club. Fitzhugh Fella? We could start a sticky/list of ideas and suggestions and send them to N Cortese? For me, I would like to see a special badge or text on our all our new shirts for next season. Would like to all designs based on some "classic" saints designs from down the years. As we are in a long term deal with Umbro, I would like to see them give the "tailored by umbro" look to their own classic saints shirt of 1974-1976. Think of the england home kit in terms of style and cut, anyone got any better pictures?:- CLASSIC **** where has the picture gone?! try this link if you wanna see the shirt im reffering to 1974-76 http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Southampton/Southampton.htm

a few interesting points and a few barmy ones- but it would never work and never happen keep the bluefew in the shack with the **** with the bell (anything else would just not be the same)

I remember when bart came in at 18yo and he looked like a monster for his age and his performances were exceptional at times if I remember right - he was even talking up a move to a "bigger" club. Since the knee and with the exception of the Charlton game he has looked a different player but not in a good sense! Let's hope the revival starts today for bart and that he has found a bit more maturity and can re discover the real promise he showed early on.

Clearly most improved player for us this year, I was not happy with the majority of his performances last season. Well done Adam and Pards. Would like to hear from letsbeavenue?!
-
would play:- Bart Mills lb Murty rb Thomas cb Perry cb Wotton dm Morgan mf Hammond mf Holmes lw Waigo rw Paterson cf would like to give hammond and morgan a rest but who could come in?

At risk of sounding controversial, I am not really that fussed about the fa cup this year. Don't get me wrong I love the fa cup and for me it still holds that magic, but let's be honest we are not going to go far this year in the FA cup. The League and JPT despite being mickey mouse, should be our priority - Wembley would be a great day out for us given all the **** we have gone through and I'm worried our squad is too thin for run's in all 3. That said would rather beat Northampton and get one of the big boys, would be a good day out perhaps.

great idea well done MLT will donate on just giving when set up im ****e at golf. Any plans for a game to be arranged?

I was living in Canada for a bit, may go back next year. Would be in Aurora Ontario near Toronto.

It is OUR song though....we just can't sing it very well! The best way is to sing it verryyy slowww (in tune) for two verses the speed if up with clapping & left side right side.

I posted a long while back I had heard he was not in pardew's plans early on, I expect him to move on. Shame I think he is ok

I go to spurs a few times a season with family who are season ticket holders, was there today and I can confirm they do a fantastic rendition of oh when the saints, I almost feel embaressed. When sung slowly it is such an atmospherhic song. That said they do have microphones hanging down from the stands to increase the volume the cheating ****s!

I reckon we will see a fair bit of movement in & out in January, the owners have backed pards so far and will continue to do so in the same vein. I would expect to see 2 or 3 come in who will make a big difference to the team & could probably do a job in the championship. I think a cb, defensive mf & striker will be bought/loaned & a few squad players out if we can shift a few like saga & holmes.
-
priorities for me would be to sign a quality defensive MF (desperately) and a target man to replace rickie if he is not fit/tired. also to tie up some of the loans longer term.

We were poor yesterday pretty much all over the pitch - that said we had some great chances to get something particularly 2nd half. This was however a bad performance and result in the scope of things. The team has been excellent in recent weeks so I hope this is just a blip. Strong sides will show strength & character and bounce back when set back. Perfect opportunity vs Norwich to put it right, that will tell us more about the team IMO than Sunday.
-
Thought he had a great game at cb but did not look comfortable at rb IMO
-
Harding mom for me. Morgan was excellent in 1st half, lallana had a good game. Jaidi looked a little shakey 1st half but improved 2nd - the opposite could be saved for Thomas who looked a little shakey at right back. Feel a bit for Bart he only had 2 saves to make all night. Very pleased another win shame we could not keep a clean sheet again but we are certainly entertaining these days!

is james tackling strong enough to sit infront of the back 4?
-
Dyer always flattered to deceive which is a shame as he had real potential. If he can rediscover his early promise then good luck to him. That said he seemed to have an attitude problem and I would much rather have the players we now have who show real commitment and battle rather than the lazy big head chav's like dyer & mcgoldrick.

aNOTHER wIN! did not get to see too much of the first half- seemed a fairly even scrappy contest (great coverage from sportklub by the way i thought!) start of the 2nd half we were all over them, once that 1st went in we really punished them and showed no mercy. Sorry to say it but OG nearly screwed it up, out of position for the 1st and needless penalty. Hopefully some lessons learned there. Really enjoyed the game, we have improved so much from last season it is untrue - still alot of hard work to put in but I'm quietly confident we can push on in the new year and make a late push if injuries are kind. COYR!

A player who was around at the start of my saints supporting life. I remember kevin Moore fondly, a player who always gave 1000% and great in the air. Thanks for the memories kev, I wish you all the best and would support an event if one were held.
-
He can't be far off though.......to be fair
-
What's the deal with kevin Moore then chaps?

Ron, never had the pleasure to watch you due to my age but it's clear you are a true club legend and those can only be counted on one hand IMHO. My sincere condolences to you at this difficult time, you are in the hearts & thoughts of saints fans everywhere.
