I am against trophy hunting but sometimes a bit of pragmatism is needed. Apex hunters have often been killed off so numbers of those lower down the chain need to be controlled. Also as there is much more food, numbers have blossomed. So if you can get money for it, that can then be used beneficially elsewhere, isn't that a price worth paying? This of course doesn't apply to all animals that have been mentioned here, all which I would personally like to shoot with my camera. The bow and arrow is wholly unacceptable though. No defence of that is possible.

That certainly is the case with me. I see his name on the sheet and am not worried. Sure he is learning and no doubt will be caught out on occasions, but he seems to have taken to the task at hand pretty well and without any fuss.

Spot on. I think she has protected her father's legacy above and beyond what most would have done. I also would say "no". I was watching a bit of the Man City vs Barca yesterday, before falling asleep, and I really wondered what the teams had in connection with the city save for it being a base. Maybe not so much with Barca, but City really has very little to do with Manchester. I guess football is going that way, but at least we have players coming through the academy. JWP and McQueen are both local boys who have been with the club for ever and have played in the 1st team. That to me is football. Would another investor, especially from China, really want to continue that??

Or how about Koeman to Inter? After all, when Inter are on song, they are without doubt one of the big boys.

Hardly playing. Liga 2 - P4 W1 D1 L2 let in 8 goals, 1 clean sheet. On the bench 8 times. Copa del Rey - played twice. 1 win 1 loss, 1 clean sheet. I don't think he'll ever be good enough. The £2.5m fee we paid League 2 Gillingham, after 20 appearances, should be investigated as well as it seems very dodgy to me.

Sammy, I believe that the add-ons for Mané are very easy to achieve, and they are team related rather than Mané related. If I had to have a guess, it would be CL qualification, which I think Liverpool will do (if not win the league).So £38.5m - is that a bad price for Mané? And who knows exactly what the deal was? It has been said that each side party has its reasons for telling half truths, keeping quiet or singing from the roof tops. We keep quiet as that's the way we are. Liverpool seem to have pushed the £30m price quite a bit when I think that the general accepted figure is £34.5m. I would love to kow if there were some sell on clause as I can't see him staying at Liverpool as long as they expect him to.

How on earth do you know what agreement was made? And as far as gentlemen's agreements go, it needs to have gentlemen to uphold them and there is a dire paucity of them in football.
