  1. Results were looking bad at one stage. Much better now.
  2. I want City to win to show how ridiculous the league is where you can just buy the title.
  3. If Southgate is saying JWP has only just come back and is not in the squad for that reason, that is complete BS. Delph - this year (ie since 1st January 2019) Played 18 minutes last night in the CL at right back. Played 10 minutes on 20th January in the PL vs Huddersfield as defensive midfielder. Played 90 minutes on 23rd January in the 2nd leg of the EFL Cup against Burton Albion (when they were 9-0 up from the first leg). A total of 118 minutes Loftus-Cheek is somewhat better this year..... Played 15 & 28 minutes in 2 games in the Europa League. 7 sub appearances in the PL - 53, 13, 7, 25, 13, 12 and 34 mins 2 sub appearances in the FA Cup - 42 and 25 mins and 31 mins in the EFL cup final A total of 298 minutes JWP, this calendar year Played 900 minutes in the 10 games we have played in the PL Played both games in the FA Cup - 90 and 120 mins ie he has played every minute of every game we have had this year. A total of 1,110 minutes
  4. You're very wrong on this. It's not "theirs" to take control of, not least that most presumably aren't of Jewish descent. There are c. 260k Jews in this country, meaning the numbers don't stack up. And why are you taking what football fans want/sing about, rather than The Community Security Trust, the Jewish Leadership Council, the World Jewish Congress and the Board of Deputies of British Jews ? They have pressed Spurs to clamp down and stop this. As I say, it really isn't "theirs". For what its worth, the Yid Army would be the IDF, not a group of Tottenham supporters.
  5. So 2 morons confirmed (ish) who were supposedly reported by at least one fellow Saints supporter to the stewards who seem to maybe have done nothing about it as there is no report of it, and the article doesn't say whether the perps were ejected. If that is the case, not sure how the old bill arrested someone so quickly unless the person making the complaint to the stewards contacted the club directly. Also think it would have been good if the Sunday Times got all sides of the story, as not sure that they included this bit about being reported to stewards by fellow supporters.
  6. I did the obligatory YT search on Carrillo, and came across this one...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4rmZslpdss Not very long and a lot of repeating from different angles.
  7. Maybe these 2 were Labour party members!
  8. I didn't really want to write this, as it might be taken as condoning or ignoring what went on. But what I wrote earlier stands. It's not big. It's not clever. It's not banter. It's certainly not acceptable in any way. But... I look at the headline and some of the language used, and don't think that the embellishments are particularly helpful, nor paint a true picture. "Southampton hit by anti-semitism storm". Two people by the sound of it, were being complete tools and should have the book thrown at them. That is hardly "Southampton". Its the old question of do you punish a whole club for the actions of one or two people? Maybe Birmingham can all be labelled as hooligans for the action of the one person who assaulted Graylish? I suspect that they will be punished for the failure to secure the pitch, but that is a little different from controlling someone chanting. And storm? I think maybe the journalist and a handful around the morons heard it, I certainly didn't. I think that the embellishments over these 2 idiots detract from the wider problems of antisemitism. Again this is in no way condoning or excusing the chants. I do find it interesting that of the MSM, apart from the Times only Sky seem to have anything about it. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11700/11660835/southampton-investigate-alleged-anti-semitic-chanting-during-tottenham-game As an aside, I've never understood the dislike towards Jewish people. A conflation between Israel/Zionism and being Jewish?? As for Yid-Army, looking at Sky's link in the link I posted it leads to this - https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11649821/tottenham-wont-change-policy-on-y-word-chants-ahead-of-chelsea-clash I'm afraid that I can't agree with Spurs on this, although I agree with them on the intent part. If they did stop their support using it, then maybe it would go some way to stop other morons taunting them over historical events.
  9. Maybe get Carrillo up and running as well, or is that asking for too much?
  10. I think West Ham also felt the same. So maybe he couldn't hack it in PL but finds Ligue 1 better.
  11. If they want to be more transparent, maybe give the ref a score. No explanation needed, as that would undermine them too much, but just a score. Yesterday would be 3/10 for example. However that might undermine them too much and put off people becoming refs.
  12. Ta. Presumed that was what it was for but couldn't see clearly from up high.
  13. Not sure if it has been asked, but what was PEH booked for?
  14. We screwed up over Tadic did we? How? He comes to the club and says he has done 4 years now, is tired of it (not least Xmas fixtures) and wants to go back to Netherlands. What are we supposed to do, cage him so he can't escape and wheel him out on match days?
  15. Real being destroyed
  16. Given. Bit of a surprise that as it looked out to me.
  17. Hes scored
  18. Why would an overseas player want to play for a small provincial club in England, that has struggled due to a **** poor owner, when he can go to his adopted home and play for one of Europe's big clubs (even if it is in a supposedly weaker league)? Do people think that as soon as an overseas player comes to Saints, that he will be here for ever more?
  19. Maybe, but if the Club aren't prepared for that, then they should be more circumspect with their signings. I saw Alexis Sanchez being interviewed on Sky or something the other day, and he speaks about as much English as Bale does Spanish. Aguero doesn't speak English either.
  20. Too many people, and I'm not accusing you of it, think that we had some proprietorial rights over the bloke.
  21. Ah ha. When the going gets sticky, blame the foreigner.
  22. Not so much a defector (but didn't want to start a new thread), but SISU are on the brink of getting Coventry expelled from the league which might make lead them to going out of business. Very sad, and one of Lowe's better decisions to refuse to sell to them. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6764883/Cup-winners-face-league-axe-Sad-Coventry-City-brink-toxic-legal-row-Ricoh-Arena.html
  23. How Franny ever contributed to that is a complete mystery.
  24. See from the Behind the Scenes video that Kenzie is still around. Bring her back to do the main bit.
  25. I thought Kenzie was easy enough on the eye, although always found it strange her tottering around on high heels.
