  1. The most unnatural position is when a defender tucks his hands behind his back.
  2. I was just quoting the Echo. That area is a bit seedy for me. There again, the same goes for most of Southampton Does an accountant for a restaurant cook the books or does he book the cooks?
  3. Salisu's came off his thigh.
  4. I think he was
  5. Nope, not me. The only opinion that matters is Mike Dean’s apparently.
  6. For the first goal his right hand seems to flick the ball towards the goal. I can’t see how they can have it both ways though. If the first is accidental then the second should be too, in my opinion.
  7. Is that a poster?
  8. Well said. When Lyanco clattered into them for the first time I said to my grandson that they’d be just a little bit more wary the next time they met. I remember a game near the end of the season at the Dell when Arsenal beat us and won the league. I mentioned to some of the Arsenal fans after the game that their team had been somewhat aggressive and their reply was merely that you needed that sort of thing in your team if you were going to win anything.
  9. “Since he was two months” old but yeah, you’re probably right. My missus used to deal with the Sunak in their pharmacy when she worked in Primary Care. She says they were always “very ambitious”.
  10. At the merest hint of a touch they were hitting the grass like bugs splattering a windscreen. Pathetic bunch of flimsiest.
  11. Kuti’s, originally in Oxford Road. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/18237824.chancellor-rishi-sunak-did-shifts-fun-southampton-indian-restaurant/
  12. Yes. Well refereed.
  13. Both born in England unlike Johnson who was born in New York.
  14. If the players are savvy enough they’ll play to the tolerance levels that the referee has established early in the game. They’ll push things as far as they can without going over the line.
  15. I think he’s worth his place. He’s a constant threat with his pace and running. Clearly his finishing needs a big improvement but he was an important part of the team yesterday. He got a warm round of applause when he was substituted although he didn’t look too happy as he walked off the pitch.
  16. I loved the way he ran out near the end to get his head in the ball and put it in the crowd. He took out the Arsenal player at the same time.
  17. Saudi money innit.
  18. They really are a load of wimps. The Arsenal players were going down with bruised egos all through the game.
  19. What on earth are they complaining about?
  20. He is the future.
  21. My neighbour burns wood whenever he can, sometimes just for the sake of it. The wind always blows the smoke across our garden and into our house.
  22. Well said sir. Even if that ‘goal’ had been allowed to stand it would have been less likely that he’d have scored the one that he did soon after. A team like Manchester United adapts to events. We lost because we let in three goals. No amount of VAR would have affected those.
  23. Yes. Broken beyond repair.
  24. Good idea but the problem with that is that any government could change the law at any time.
