I called the ticket office this afternoon and they confirmed that I had been sent all my due refunds. I had missed one back in October. The Newcastle refund was processed with the West Brom one on the 2nd November which was before the game was actually played. Refunds for Man Utd and Sheffield Utd are being processed at the moment. I asked about arrangements for Shrewsbury and was told that they are still under discussion.

I tried my Firestick last night (no laughing there at the back) but couldn’t see anything about Now TV or Sky programmes on it. I also have Virgin TiVo so I’ll have a look at that later. -
Well, every Lidl helps.

The Times this morning says that Amazon Prime and Sky have agreed to share general content. I don't know when this starts. -
I still haven't received my refund for the Newcastle game let alone Man Utd. Time for a phone call methinks.

So why was he so disappointing for us? -
Sad to see the passing of such a nice man.

Ibrahima Diallo - Official: Signs for Al Duhail
Whitey Grandad replied to TWar's topic in The Saints
He slotted in seamlessly and didn’t seem out of place in any way. He looks promising. Maybe a full run out against Shrewsbury? -

Vestergaard and Che are both in Tony Cascarino’s team of the week in The Times today. -
Thanks. Good news

What happened about the ID checking? Asking for a friend.

We shall never know but if he’d come here he might have been a nice boy

Why? He is the one in charge of time. -
Outstanding

Didn’t he play for Newcastle?

It must be a nightmare for the club. You might be in Tier 2 on the Tuesday when they hold the ballot but then changed to Tier 3 on the Thursday which would come into effect on the Saturday so you wouldn’t then be able to travel. Part of London are bad and there is some pressure to move them into Tier 3.
-
Amen to that.
-
I’ve just checked the dares for the next COVID Tier review. “The tiers will will be reviewed on 16 December, any changes to the tiers will be announced on 17 December, and changes will come into force on 19 December.” So any reviews will be in force for the Man City game on Saturday the 19th.

I’m not having a pop in any way. The club can only follow government instructions. I was just pointing out that situations will probably change before the Man City game. I don’t envy the club having to organise all this.
-
Statistically that is quite likely.
-
Tiers are reviewed next Wednesday I believe. My concern relates to the need for specific ID for these matches. Traditionally letting someone else use a season ticket has been acceptable and widely practised.

As I understand it, they weren’t.

I agree with all that you say but that foul took only half a second or so.
-
I don’t claim to be, I was a qualified referee and technically I still am. The whistle is what stops play normally what restarts it. Football is not played on TV so what you see or hear there is not relevant. A referee can change his/her mind provided the game has not been restarted. You can’t indicate advantage of course because the offended player was on the ground too quickly but the principle is still there. It was one continuous foul lasting a fraction of a second that was very clearly inside the area and the referees between themselves eventually agreed. I don’t really understand the problem with this outcome to be honest. In my view it was a clear and obvious error considering the position of the referee at the time.

Are you really that petty? What on earth leads you to your conclusions? I am not an internet policeman nor can I be nor should I be. Each of us can only be responsible for what we ourselves write. Whatever anyone else thinks of you they may or may not be justified in what they say. As far as I know they may be right. Oh, hypocrite is not the word you’re looking for.
