Sometimes you can be a complete pr!ck. What is the NHS for if it’s not for sick people? Or do you just want it reserved for yourself? Everybody has a right to life and liberty. Not house arrest.

If your MOT expires then you can’t tax your car with all that follows. You cannot keep it on a public road. Just one small example.

There are many more reasons than these. It’s impractical. Besides, what’s the point? Who are we trying to protect? Why lock yourself away when you might only have a few years left to live? Might as well kill your self now.

The whole country is going to need financial assistance very soon.

Over 70s isolation cannot work on so many grounds. Cars need MOTs, hospital appointments need to be kept, many still need to work, many do important work, some look after other events older people.

That is idiotic on so many levels. They only want to keep the oldies out of intensive care beds so that they can reserve them for themselves. You only have to ask yourself whose welfare they are concerned about. It’s not the over-70s

Yes, well played. I have just been to the ticket office to get a refund on my train ticket. Full refund of £53.60 it says. The only dilemma now is... do I tell my wife that I'm not going? She'll only find something unproductive for me to do if I stay at home.

I meant, what practical difference would playing behind closed doors make to the spread of the virus. If crowds are banned from the games this Saturday then many of them will travel anyway or chooses another outside activity.
