  1. I can only assume that it was Ralph wanting to have a closer look at fringe players.
  2. He was late coming out for Bournemouth’s second goal too. A couple of yards behind all the others. I don’t think it would have been quite enough to get the goal ruled out but very close.
  3. And they will finish above us.
  4. Missing him already?
  5. How the feck did we miss out on him? He's another one that slipped through the net
  6. Robbie Savage on the BBC: "We're going to have to see one of Liverpool's greatest nights ever in the second leg." Pass me the sick bag.
  7. Might not be enough. Away goals count for a lot. If liverpool don't score tonight I can't see Barca not scoring at Anfield.
  8. I can't see the logic in some of these arguments. If we sold him we would most probably get what he was worth. To replace him with similar quality and abilities we would need to pay a similar amount. We would lose a large wodge of agents' fees out of it. What's the point?
  9. In Ralph I trust.
  10. I'll be there with my grandson but I'll wait for the next credit card period before renewing.
  11. Armstrong had only been on the pitch a few minutes when he gets robbed of the ball in the centre circle. He had plenty of time to pass to a teammate. He wasn't on long enough to get tired.
  12. But who cares?
  13. That doesn't stop Rupert Murdoch. Perhaps it's something about Ruperts?
  14. It wasn't 'over half the electorate'. Typical Brexiteer, exaggerating everything;)
  15. Took his goal well last night. A mark of a confident player.
  16. "a couple"? In my view it has been a lot more than that.
  17. If he reads the comments on here then he's not doing his job properly and if his confidence is that fragile then we are in big trouble. He is paid a helluva lot of money and he should be up to the job.
  18. He plays as a centre back but doesn't head the ball.
  19. I'm in the middle of a trip round northern Europe and we spent a night in Ypres right in the main square. When you see the pictures of the devastation and compare them to what has been rebuilt then the damage to Nôtre Dame seems quite minor.
  20. Under Puel he was gash too. Wouldn't stick to his man and went off chasing rabbits. Ran away from Ibrahimovic at the end of the League Cup Final and gave away a needless penalty at Burnley this season. I wish that all our opponents had a player like him.
  21. It's interesting that we finished last season on 36 points with a goal difference of -19. Stoke and Swansea both finished on 33 with West Brom on 31.
  22. They were my thoughts too.
  23. That's a good point. During the game itself the officials can't take into consideration anything that was said before but during any FA disciplinary hearing it would probably be included.
