  1. 'Best players'? The players that we have now are our best players, better than the previous 'best players'.
  2. I just wish that we would stop subsidising them.
  3. He has got his family moved back 'home' and achieved his boyhood dream.
  4. Got my ticket yesterday. £5 for an old git concession seems very fair to me.
  5. Southampton innit.
  6. Our aircraft were certainly flying over the Moray Firth when I was there in May. I saw more than I ever do over southern England.
  7. I did feel that Long went looking for the collision and got cleaned out.
  8. Throw-in. I'd like to see it again.
  9. It's the difference between a matter of law or a matter of fact.
  10. Agreed. I'm much more interested in where we're going than where we've been.
  11. Don't the board wear them for a week or two before deciding?
  12. Even worse is that the English don't have a vote on whether to get rid of them. This wouldn't just be Scotland that was gaining independence.
  13. He had the card with number 7 on it ready and you can see him turn round and say "Moods, sit down". Branfoot never understood flair or genius. I'm hoping for a couple of similar goals today
  14. Makes all der world of difference.
  15. Not sacked : mutual consent.
  16. Please, that's a sore point.
  17. I hate the very thought of it. It just isn't cricket.
  18. She can check my hose anytime.
  19. I'm sure you both know, but others might not, that these three battles involved England fighting against Scotland and for once it would be good to teach those of a Scottish bent the other side's point of view. Scotland would not be allowed to walk straight into the EU and would have to go through a qualification period, if accepted.
  20. [quote=david in sweden;2049879 Certain players seem to be "experts at winning penalties"...when it fact what they should get is a yellow card for diving. At least a replay would show the reality of it, and not left to the ref 's "guess" .when he's trailing 20 yards behind the play. Modern refs are usually quicker than the players at keeping up with play. Edit: I've just noticed that my ipad had put 'modem' instead of 'modern'. When were talking about too much technology in football that's quite appropriate.
  21. But who would provide the video snippets for that monitor? It would have to be an independent FA group of officials, and in some cases EUFA or even FIFA.
  22. And polluted air. It's covered in a pall of yellow smog most of the time.
  23. We're going down to Malmö and over the Øresund bridge and then the Storebælt bridge to Sønderborg, I know some people there from when I used to do a lot of work for them. Apart from buying the giant horse the other reason for coming was to go over these bridges. We would gave stated around longer but I need to get back for the Newcastle game.
  24. There's been one in Christchurch New Zealand since the earthquake. http://retaildesignblog.net/2013/02/05/shipping-containers-restart-shopping-mall-christchurch-new-zealand-2/
  25. Hi David, In Helsingborg now Don't forget that I and others in here are qualified referees and have been through these discussions several times before. Yes, you're right, it's when the ball is kicked that matters but no part of the arms is considered. Any other part of the body can be offside such as the nose, knee, foot.
