Please don't mention Brown, it upsets me and I have my blood pressure to consider. My theory is that he wanted to build a state where the majority depended on government handouts for their livelihood and would therefore vote Labour and keep him and his fellow incompetents in power. Every time he announced a big leap in public spending I held my head in despair. It was all supposed to be paid for out of future growth but why shouldn't the poor bloody workers get some of the benefits of this?
