  1. Well I was, the last time that I could see it.
  2. I expect we'll see bugger all difference, to be honest.
  3. Please explain: what is the point?
  4. Is this everywhere or are the 'safe' areas?
  5. What's it like for a holiday? Guided tour, that sort of thing.
  6. It's the post that is redundant, not the person, and the procedure must be 'fair'. If the employer does not follow the correct procedure then the dismissal is automatically unfair. I believe it is possible for a company to make a post redundant and then re-employ the postholder on a short-term contract.
  7. I can neither confirm nor deny that either of the persons in question is me. I would say, however, that I am probably too old to be considered middle-aged and neither do I work in Downing Street.
  8. Please God, no.
  9. I normally use Tapatalk and have no problems with that. Mind you, I don't have problems with IE8 or later.
  10. Oh, I get yer game, say no more.
  11. God that was awful. Fryern Rec was also bad for dogs. I know someone who used to take her dog there just so it could have a crap.
  12. The more intriguing question is... How did it drop in the bog? What were you doing with it there? You need one of these: http://www.collinsamerica.com/page4/page4.html
  13. Agreed, but doesn't every season start like this?
  14. I've played on worse.
  15. Quite right, but I would add that if you only do a few miles a year you should still get a safety check.
  16. Too clever for me.
  17. That's the only one that I was certain about. I played a friendly rugby game in 1967 for my school on the big grass pitch that was part of Northumberland Park School on the east side of the stadium. Before the war one on my uncles allegedly had a house that backed onto the ground and used to climb a ladder to watch the games over his back garden fence.
  18. Half and half, 5 out of 10 which for me is not bad. I like the comment: 'You've got promise. But then so did Michael Ricketts' They might have told me what the answers were.
  19. Plus wages for a few seasons and it soon mounts up.
  20. There might be a secret underground site.
  21. Saturday 17th August, but for us about 10 games later
  22. BMW service indicators used to work to a complicated algorithm that took into account factors such as engine temperature, rev range and so on but then they found that just looking at the fuel consumed gave them the same answers so now that's all they use. You can get a cheap interface for your PC that can read the computer control unit under your seat and reset the indicators if necessary.
  23. Any connection with this? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?45057-Luke-Shaw-injured-again-and-out-of-England-U21-Euro-2013-squad
  24. Thanks, I can't plan my endless schedule of holidays without these. Not that it matters, they'll probably all get moved for television.
  25. They've been hidden up there for years, haven't they? Er, so I'm led to believe.
