  1. I don't like it. All I see is 'Pap' written across the front of it.
  2. I wasn't actually thinking about the woman, as usual.
  3. Not actually 'cuts' though, are they?
  4. Ah, I remember it well. Who needs an orgasmatron with someone like her?
  5. Matthew Parris from The Times a year or so ago: 1: The party's over. 2: There ain't gonna be another.
  6. I take that back. I'm getting a message telling me that the Tapatalk API is out of date.
  7. And also ok on IPhone Tapatalk. Thanks.
  8. Seems to be working ok for me on hd Ipad.
  9. They could just be where alien spacecraft have crashed?
  10. He will be sadly missed. The programme was never the same without his knowledge and enthusiasm. May he rest in peace
  11. The Rich Fool Go, silly worm, drudge, trudge and travel*, Despising pain, So thou may'st gain Some honour, or some golden gravel; But death the while, to fill his number, With sudden call Takes thee from all, To prove thy days but dreams and slumber. Joshua Sylvester 1563-1618 (*travel = travail, work) I came across this many years ago and as I get older its significance grows day by day.
  12. It could just be that we aren't offering enough in the way of wages.
  13. The problem with big tellies of this size and resolution is the lack of source material.
  14. Yes, isn't it always right to question?
  15. No, but it's very expensive to get there and difficult to support politically these days.
  16. Respect. This is not a rant, rather a perfectly reasonable response to this load of shysters.
  17. I've been to Swindon but I don't want to go back there again.
  18. More importantly, what happened to the first fifty? Where have they gone?
  19. At least it stops you rolling out of bed.
  20. As long as nothing else drops. How many in a packet? I think I might need two of them, there again I have to think of my heart.
  21. I was talking to a girl in Atlanta who had never seen the sea. It's only about 250 miles away. Also remember Americans in the middle of nowhere are not going to drive an hour or so to visit the nearest town which is exactly like the one they left and where they don't know anybody. Of course a lot of places are named after places in Europe so if you mention a place name you have to qualify it. I bet if you asked similar questions in China, Russia, Argentina or even Australia you would get some dumb looks.
  22. I might add that every American that I have met has been unfailingly polite and friendly.
  23. Probably ignorance rather than stupidity.
  24. I'd like to see the same questions asked in Birmingham, or Leicester, or Liverpool, or...
  25. The only problem I can see is that the road is full and has been every time that I have ever gone to the ticket office. It was full las Monday morning when I renewed mine.
