  1. I agree totally. I also agree. Somebody please explain to me how having a bubble would have prevented any of these awful tragedies.
  2. Quite right Sue, we have the luxury of a variable exchange rate which only goes to highlight how much the pound has been devalued over the last few years. It does make my exports more attractive but unfortunately it also pushes up the price of my imported components. Believe me, we don't want the Euro to fail.
  3. Demands for rates must have been sent out previously. Do you know where they have been sent? Otherwise, demands are usually addressed to 'the Occupier' and are delivered to the property. I don't believe that small business rate relief is automatically applied. You, or whoever is entitled to this, might have to appply for it.
  4. Some people don't do irony.

  14. We're not complaining about our situation. We're complaining about having to pay for the bloated public sector as well as ourselves.
  15. Let's wait for the final figures, shall we.
  16. That is exactly what has been happening to pensions in the private sector, annuity rates are a pale shadow of what they once were.
  17. To be fair, that would apply to most of them.
  18. If it weren't growing we would still be in recession.
  19. That's because they only work for a few years. The £5000 is still a much bigger return that what they have paid in.
  20. If nothing else it's delayed our promotion by a week.
  21. Peace and happiness throughout the world?
  22. How do you know it hasn't been faulty?
  23. Didn't Ivan Golac have a spell on loan to them?
  24. Well they can go and blow somebody else's bubble 'cause they're not going to blow ours.
