In an interview yesterday Olly said that isn't going to happen because that is not the way he does things. It's about finishing the stadium, giving the players better training facilities and securing the long-term future of the club and having a good deal of fun on the way.

Even if they do go straight back down, they've guaranteed themselves £88 million pounds of extra income over the next 5 years, which is a damn site more than many so called bigger clubs in the Football League will be able to generate. i don't know about their current debt situation but if it's negligible, they could easily build to at least become the next West Brom (yo-yo club).

Why are people getting so hot under the collar about this. Although we've finished playing the official end of the season isn't until June 1st. We no longer need to get money in to fill the shortfall between one season, to the other and the season's budgeting is no longer robbing Peter to pay Paul. Only players currently out of contract or contracts expiring in June, released by their current club. May be all the players we are after have contracts elsewhere and therefore we have to wait.

If we had to sell him, we'd probably get no more than £500k. As we don't, we would probably repel up to £3million. A buyers market is much much different than a sellers one.

It would be harsh but if we are to sign somebody better (not saying this guy is but definitely has more pace) then he takes over as number one choice. That is the facts of life! If ,as we probably all agree, Harding is a decent player at this level, then if we get somebody better, we have bloody good options. Now to sort out the right-back problem!

For me too but I'd make the crown bigger and have a halo around/over it. I wouldn't be adverse to keeping the waves between the top and bottom roses though.
