  1. Expired at the weekend but Ince wants to extend his loan. http://www.mkdons.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10420~1828463,00.html
  2. Don't you think it's a bit late for that? Just because it's our first league game against them (and they have played at St Mary's in the cup), they have been going more than 5 years now (and Wimbledon have been given all of their trophies and memorabilia back). Give them stick by all means but it won't be original. They will have heard it all before.
  3. Maybe with the extra segregation it only holds 3,100? Charlton must have a full allocation in Orient's biggest attendance but only took 2,794.
  4. Nice kit Stade Francais were wearing! Not!!
  5. http://www.expressandstar.com/2009/10/19/wolves-and-albion-star-burnside-dies/
  6. Probably what they are allocated on sale or return? They will probably ask for another similar allocation but have to guarantee the cash.
  7. Although not originally shown on the FL show, it is included in the extended highlights on the BBC and Sky websites.
  8. Reminded me of a MLT penalty, where quite often the body shape suggested the ball was going in one corner, only for an almost double-jointed ankle to flick it in the opposite direction.
  9. Does this mean that Neil Shipperley is in the top 10 most sporting for keeping the ball in? Absolute garbage! MLT is listed yet Hansie Cronje, one of the most despicable sportsman to walk on this earth, doesn't make the cut.
  10. Yeah but he's never gonna score a goal (well if Saturday's anything to go by)!
  11. And added a threat at the other end!
  12. Could sing the old "Score a Goal...." I.e the Neil Shipperley, Mrs Robinson song.
  13. It was called Argentine Melody (Cancion De Argentina). Can be found on Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Premiere Collection Encore" album.
  14. At the time both teams were mid table Championship teams. One we upwards, the other went alarmingly in the other direction.
  15. Depends on how big the away end is? Can't imagine it being able to hold much more than 3,000 TBH.
  16. I don't buy this "Gillett was decent for us last season" cr@p! He had two decent spells of 4 or 5 games but that was it. He started 23 league games for us last season (exactly half) of which at least 10 he was mediocre at best. I know he missed a fair few through injury but also missed several because he wasn't deemed to be good enough to get into the side (and last season that is going some). Less than a dozen reasonable to decent appearances during a 46 game season, does not warrant the hero worship Gillett seems to be getting from some on here. The guy has had more than enough chances to stake a claim and never taken them.
  17. OS and Soccernet have him at 6'2" or 1.88Mtrs. Maybe he's shot up in those couple of years. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10280~46142,00.html
  18. I do agree with this. Although sympathetic to the reasoning the Club wants to move this 'element' away from the corporates, I feel the closure of Blocks 1-3 has to a certain extent caused the problems in 4 and 5.
  19. I think it would have been 7.00 kick-off again if it hadn't been chosen by Sky.
  20. Reminds me of the cage that we used to have in the Archers/West Stand corner at the Dell.
  21. I think he meant Gillett as the missile!!
  22. Not sure if Mellis is back yet. The BBC team news suggests he isn't available.
  23. TBH I would say that MLT (and he says as much in his book) was an attacking midfield player and therefore should be included but I agree if MLT is not, then AL shouldn't either because he's fulfilling the same role.
  24. A bit different going from semi-pro non-league football to the professional ranks (with the areas biggest club), than a so called 'bigger' club in the same division.
