  1. Ah cheers!!! 59th, I knew I wasn't far off the first page.
  2. Kelvin would still choose to kick towards the Northam first half!!
  3. Not according to the BBC commentary on Saturday night. Lambert's seventh and Waigo's 2nd in two games. I think although the replays show the ball crossed the line, the officials didn't give it and played on. If that was the case it's Waigo's goal because they can't retrospectively change referees' decisions. Apologies: Lambert is on 6. FOOTBALL LEAGUE STATISTICS Player FL1 CUPS TOTAL Richard Lambert 5 1 6 Adam Lallana 4 2 6 Ndiaye Papa Waigo 2 0 2 Dan Harding 1 0 1 Matthew Paterson 1 0 1 Radhi Jaidi 1 0 1 FL1 = Coca-Cola Football League One CUPS = Carling Cup
  4. I think that was the point I was trying to make.
  5. I agree. Cortese said he was almost embarrassed by the lack of trophies in the cabinet. Well this may be a Mickey Mouse competition but it is a legitimate FL trophy.
  6. I'd still expect a few to be rested. Perry in for Jaidi etc., and a few to be given a run out. Saga for Waigo etc.
  7. How do you find your position? I can only see the first 50.
  8. How dare you belittle the real argument of the day by introducing such trivial matters to the debate! :smt021
  9. Yes, agree with that. We will also have a few setbacks on the way (we are Saints after all) but out of the bottom 4 by Christmas is achievable, I think anything else is being too optimistic.
  10. This is true but he'd never have lived long enough to make the first team if he had dropped the drinks.
  11. I suspect that by the time we get back to the championship the season after next (not CC any more) I think both Murty and Jaidi will have retired and Davis an Lallana will have moved on. Schneiderlin, Hammond and Lambert plus maybe McLaggon and Gobern. The rest will have to come from elsewhere.
  12. I remember back in the day, they used to take one of the young players to away games as a non-playing member of the match-day squad. Remember Steve Baker getting in a tray of Whiskies for the likes of Channon, Ball and Keegan on the train home. No Idea how he managed to get served as he was only about 16 at the time.
  13. Pretty gash yesterday, setting up both AL's goals and hitting the post!
  14. Same except, Murty at RB when he's fit and Spiderman for Wotton.
  15. I thought he was completely at fault for the goal. A goalkeeper should never have bee lobbed from less than 20 yards out. off his line and out of position! Others should have got a challenge in earlier mind.
  16. And if we didn't have a bloody goalkeeper as a captain I'm sure they would. KD thinks of 2 things: Sun in his eyes (even though this isn't usually a problem during the English football season) and his personal reception coming out second half.
  17. Absolute garbage!! The OP makes a point about because it is now ST only he can't now take his 8 year old daughter and was quite rightly advised that if he wishes to he can relocate. His argument then went on to say that he sits (stands) where he does so he can give sh!t to the opposition fans. If that is the case then his email is b*ll*cks because, either you want the "terrace culture" you speak of or you want to take your young family.
  18. The thing is they are there to do a job (if using the multi-ball system) get the ball to the home players as soon as possible whilst slightly delaying getting the ball back to the away side (allowing us to organise). Our's are utterly gormless and is anything return it to the opposition quicker than to us. At Reading the ball-boys were an integral part of the team under Coppell and knew what their job was. DH is used to this and I can fully understand his frustration with our lot!!
  19. Agreed. This league and level of football are completely foreign to him (literally) and it will take him time to adjust. But he should have had another goal (bit of a sitter) and was unlucky not to have had at least one more assist. I think his unpredictability as well as his skill and pace will be an asset to us. Until recently we have looked "oh too predictable" going forward.
  20. He's now probably got coaches that see the benefit of practising such things rather than doing 200 keepy-uppies!!
  21. Think it was more 4-3-3 with Mellis at time making it 4-2-4. Only when Lallana was taken off did we revert to 4-4-2.
  22. He hasn't got his private box any longer but does he not still have a company box?
  23. Oxymoron!!
  24. We are yellow, we are blue Who the f***in' 'ell are you? lalalala lalala lala
  25. Now reporting that is not the case.
