  1. Football will not re-start in the near future. When social distancing will still be in the work places and other venues for many months to come it’s impossible for contact sport to start up again just like that. Schools are talking about reduced class sizes for the foreseeable future so the thought of players jostling at corners and having full contact just isn’t going to happen!! I listened to Simon Jordan on TalkSPORT this morning.........whatever you think of him or that channel have a listen and then make up your mind whether you think it’ll start up again.
  2. Until social distancing policies change there will be no football in the UK. The moment the government let football do one thing whilst everyone else does something different will lead to everything that has been achieved so far being undone instantaneously.
  3. I believe I worked out that his ‘track’ is 59M!
  4. Actually it may be worse than that. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/premier-league-study-serie-plans-21860476
  5. So they’re suggesting bars and restaurants won’t be open until Christmas at the earliest. You can add sports stadia to that list as well, if true. So is that behind closed doors football or no football until then? By the time we get back to ‘normal’ the football landscape, along with everything else, will look very very different.
  6. Looking at what we know, what’s anticipated and the timescales forget about being in a full stadium much before the 2021/22 season. Then in order to accommodate social distancing stadium capacities may be halved.
  7. All the best to your mum, you and your family at this difficult time.
  8. I go and watch us away now pretty much. We play better and my lad an I get value for money. The prices at home are scandalous - conversely I think Liverpool only charged a fiver or tenner for my lads ticket recently. Oh.......and please don’t give me any of this ‘if you were a proper supporter’ because that’s hogwash. I’m an intelligent man that isn’t totally stupid enough to be brainwashed in to watching Saints serve up drivel every week with the expectation that I will blindly attend games. Our ST sales will plummet next season as will our attendances when we start badly, which we invariably will.
  9. Emperors new clothes
  10. Any advice on best way to get there? I’m arriving in to Euston. Thanks in advance to everyone.

  12. I see that he has been inducted in to the hall of fame today. I heard his niece being interviewed and he was truly a trailblazer and great ambassador. What happened to him was tragic but he is an ex-Saint and he has my respect. RIP Justin, you’re not forgotten.
  13. He worked incredibly hard yesterday and ran and harried more in the last 15 minutes he was on than Obefemi did for the time he played. Doesn’t score enough as we all know but we should keep him. A good honest pro and teams/clubs need players like that.
  14. I’m in NZ on holiday. Just got up at 4am to watch and find I can’t access it here.
  15. A Saints fan on 606 just suggested an England call up for him. Please god no...........the last thing we need.
  16. No reason we can’t get a point
  17. This is a financial decision not a football one. We won’t buy any quality in January and everyone knows it. Brace yourselves for the Championship because that’s where we’re headed. The Club is in a right mess and anybody thinking otherwise is deluded.
  18. Said it before........emperors new clothes
  19. We won’t win
  20. My Prime keeps dropping out on my Samsung tv. Playing through the app. Anyone else having issues?
  21. Djenepo poor so far
  22. I really don’t get some of you. It’s as clear as day what we need and has been for numerous windows. However we won’t address it and I doubt if any decent players will want to come. We haven’t done what we said we’d do in the international break so what makes you think we’ll do any decent January business? Supporting Saints is like being in an abusive relationship. There are constant promises to change but in reality it never happens. However because we love them we’re prepared to go back and keep taking it despite knowing we shouldn’t.
  23. Thank you Sir. I dedicate my last post of the day to you!
  24. Thanks Sherlock. I see the route and it’s a 15 minute walk. Any knowledge on how busy it gets? Looking to gauge when to leave. Of course if we do a ‘Leicester’ then it won’t be an issue!
