Yes, but then again, when I install a new PC, i set up AVG... job done. My macbooks magsafe is already broken, I've got hairs under the screen of my macbook, my "5 hour" battery now only give 1h:30 at best. I'm hoping Snow Leopard will fix some of the speed issues because some apps are not exactly swift. On the contrast, my £300 lappy from Novatech has been working perfectly for 3 years now and hasnt once failed me, I've never even had a lock up, which I get on my Macbook at least once a week and have to reboot. Maybe its because I use my macbook so heavily that I see these issues quicker than the more recreational users (oh, did i mention the gaps under the keys that easily collect crap and stop them from pressing down properly.. dont get that on my £300 lappy either).

Well yeah, there are certain members on here that think Macs are the be all and end all of computing. As a macbook, iphone and ipod owned, I can confirm that they bloody well arent....

Not if you dont read the main board, which I never do. Having now read the main board I can see his issue. However, I disagree with it. The thread was locked BECAUSE of the people having a go at alps, not inspite of it. If you want a full explanation, you'd have to ask the person who locked the thread.
