At Saints, or right across the Premiere League?
-
He'd ridden the first challenge and got beyond the man and was then fouled again. Had every right to be ****ed of with the ref, who got the free kick wrong but the booking right. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

If you offered me 38 points now I'd take it. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

You have better eyesight than me then. I was sat one row from the back and didn't see nearly that amount, in fact i said on a thread elsewhere I would be surprised if there were 500, never mind 5k. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

The Bertram free kick was right in front of me and the ref got it horribly wrong. It should of been taken from where he marked the pitch for the wall. Ryan kicks off and gets booked, but I agree the ref was poor throughout. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

When a sugar daddy comes and buys us and we are winning the premiere league and champions league everything will be ok again and everybody will like the premiership then.

I was in the Kingsland Block 35, so quite a long way away from the Giroud tackle, but because of where he tackled from and then the way the ball went, it looked like a good tackle. Having seen replays on MOTD I'm still not sure but you win some you lose some. As for the yellow cards, well I think after Bertie kicked off about his free kick, the ref decided he was going to book as many as he could. Bertram was booked for dissent after arguing where the free kick should be taken from - but he was right, the referee got it wrong. I also didn't think the Lemina challenge should have been a booking, I think it was just a tackle in amongst some tasty play and he thought that was the only way to cull it. A foul maybe, but didn't think it was a booking. In terms of them fouling us - I didn't really see too much to get upset about - there may have been a couple of instances but in all they were well in control so didn't really need to kick us up in the air.

Reality. Couldn't agree more.

Maybe we need relegation like we needed administration...

So shall we go into admin every time things get difficult, is that the master plan? It's good, I've not actually seen any other club in the entire football league do it, but hey ho - pathfinders us Saints. -
This. We got a footballing lesson from a very good team, no disgrace in that. All over the pitch, their players are better than ours, simple as - they can afford that quality we cant. I didn't see any lack of effort from any of our players, we just weren't as good as them - simple. Bizarrely, if we had taken our chances (Ings, Bertie, Ings) the score would've gone 1 - 0, 1 - 1, 2 - 1, 2 - 2, 3 - 2, 3 - 3, but as I said - they had quality that we just didn't. For the warriors on here, from where I was sat - I didn't see one single fan having a go at anybody on the board - not one. I was going to severely berate the 30 odd thousand inside SMS but thought better of it. On the positive side though, I am happy to report though that there was some mild booing at the end of the match though. As Kingsbridge says - the next two are vital - anything less than 4 points (or 6 if we get 3 at Bournemouth) is not good enough in my opinion. Onward and upwards - support the Saints.

Wait until he leaves and we are blessed with a bog standard championship / league 1 replacement and you will be enlightened. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Could be quite decent in the championship. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Didn't look it either. I never saw anything like 5000 empty seats, in fact I'd be surprised if there were 500. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I was there today ally, at the final whistle some of our fans boo'd. Where's your balls mate, hung on the wall behind your keyboard? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I see, not really too sure why you would want to have all these social media platforms if you are high profile whilst being a little delicate to criticism. That said, his Twitter and Facebook appear to still be live so perhaps there is nothing innocuous about his IG account being closed. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I'm not very good at this SM stuff but isn't this his twitting thing? Doesn't look like he's deleted it to me.... Take a look at Wesley Hoedt (@wesleyhoedt): https://twitter.com/wesleyhoedt?s=09 Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Just got back, great night all told. Just read the match thread and not too sure where the info was coming from but I thought for the most part we played pretty well tonight. We started well and they really never got much of a kick for the first 25 minutes or so. I have to say that Goodison Park was the proverbial library as well, god it was quiet. Thought Maya did really well at the back and won loads of headers from set pieces. Have to say he looked a bit knackered early on, and struggled in some of his ground play, but I think that was more to do with match fitness / sharpness. Balls into the box, he sorted. Thought we deservedly took the lead, so good to see Redmond deliver a final ball and a sharp finish from Danny as well. Second half they came into it a little more as you would expect but Mario and Pierre still held the midfield for us. And then MH made our only substitution, I think it baffled most to be honest. Gabi was actually having a good game and looked stronger than I've seen for a while, so why he was subbed is beyond me. But it's also the timing that is wrong as well, we can't sit deep and defend for 20 to 25 minutes, we're not strong enough. If he was going to make that sub he should of done it with 10 to go, not 25. Theo came on, we all knew what was next and he duly obliged. However after they scored I have to say we didn't just wilt as we have in the past, we kept going and had chances to win it. When it came to the pens, thought we showed a lot of bottle. I have a phobia of left footed penalty takers so I knew Matt would have his saved, but that shouldn't mar a good performance on the night. All in all, a good night, decent performance from all of the team, a penalty shoot out, and a win at Goodison Park. How often can you say that? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Criminal defending, Palace threw the point away. Roy don't look happy. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Agree, but is he destined for better things than Bournemouth or is that going to be his pinnacle. As difficult as it is to raise your stock in management, it's very easy to lose credibility if you move on and things don't work out, as his time at Burnley proved. That said, is love to see what he could do for us. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
