How long do medicals take...?

As has been suggested before - I think you need to check the documentation (if any exists) for the plot that you bought. Given the relative small size of said plot, if it has been encroached by 14 inches they probably have a case to answer. If the meeting that you refer to is an official council meeting, then I see no reason why you cannot request that it be made an agenda point. If they refuse, then obviously you can still try to raise the issue during the AOB session at the end of the meeting. Personally, I wouldn't be going with the intent to drop anybody in it - I would be going with the intent of preserving my (your) fathers resting place. If documentation was issued at the time the plot was aquired - you need to find it and refer to it.

What Jackanory and Gemmel said - not too long ago 'boring boring Arsenal' was pretty much the norm. Yes he has his faults, but plays the game the right way and rarely resorts to the chequebook.

That is almost spot on - a post full of nothing but trivia. I think the only thing that you omitted was the fact that Corpy only ever post from work dontchaknow - never at home. Unless of course he get to occasionally borrow the wifes laptop, which is only rarely, next to never. What a boring trivial person - god I fukin hate this thread now......

Quite agree really - personally I tend to shy away from contributing to this thread now as I do think that some people have taken it way too far and many are just purely straw clutching. People continually harp on about the length of this thread - but the majority is probably just 'hot air' with little substance, much is abuse thrown backwards and forward (done lots of that myself) - and there is probably a minute amount of fact, for those that can be bothered to actually substantiate it. I have no problem with pfc123's contribution, ok he sees a totally different perspective than most of us, but then, what do you expect. He argues and debates intelligently and even appreciates a bit of banter now and then. Corp on the other hand - I have little time for. Mainly because he appears to be constantly backtracking and trying to explain that what he said was not what he meant, or (as appears recently) he just lies. I actually feel quite sorry for the other blue posters on here who have to try to contend with him and sometimes justify his bollux. But, as I say, I think many of us are expecting some sort of 'big bang' that is never going to happen - they will be around for many years to come, and I for one (yikes) am quite glad about that. Yes I want to rub their noses in it, yes I want to scream in their faces, yes I want to hurl some (friendly) abuse - but only after we have beaten them twice and finished above them next season.

Nobody nicked it mate - it's just not where they thought it was. OK, so there are a fair few radios errr 'unacounted for', but you have to temper that with the fact that BOWMAN (new radio system) has only recently been introduced, not only to the Army, but also the Navy and RAF. Therefore, there are currently literally thousands of radios being fitted to military platforms and installations all over the world, wouldn't surprise me at all if the auditors had problems tracking them all down. Mind you, your right, you could do quite a few pensions on 6bn I guess - do you think they will accept ex military kit as opposed to cash though, throw it all in cashconverters or ebay - could be the way forward.

As would my father, who worked on them during the war, and says that a better aircraft is yet to be built. Wooden airframes I believe, a lovely looking aircraft as well.
