Just so as some perspective can be put on this: and and: Not trying to be funny, but it seems a recurring theme - so thought perhaps some logos might help either way. Personally - I don't see any problem at all - I dont get the KFC / Tesco thing at all.
-
Luvit ...! If it was my money - it would be in your pocket now. For me, it's clean, concise and simple - yet totally effective. I don't get Tesco' and I don't get KFC - I get tribute to the guy that saved the club.

Without doubt the most interesting league if you are a nuetral. For me the premier league is now quite a boring affair, let's face it, the relegation battle is generally a lot more exciting than anything that is going on at the top of the league. I don't know naff all about betting, but given the relative parity of teams in the championship, I would imagine it is a bookies nightmare.

I like this, I like this a lot. Not sure about the font - but every thing else looks pretty good.
-
Probably best image so far imho - would like to see the crest (not necessarily in colour) incorporated and both the image and crest at an angle, with something simple like 'Saint Markus'. Don't like the idea of the words 'thanks' on it - I think that message is kind of obvious really. Without wanting to upset all ye good posters putting ideas up - we really do, as somebody above said, need Gecko Saints help - this is (I believe) the sort of thing he does for a living.

Fair play to the guy for telling it how it is. It's pretty refreshing to hear a player tell it like it is and not make excuses, it's good that he understands how the fans feel, and what they are probably thinking. That said - red tape or no red tape, the board, the management are fools for letting it get to that stage. They should be running the club within the League rules. This is not the players fault.

This. Sometimes I loved him, others I loathed him, and on those latter occasions I just 'scrolled on by' to the next post. Life is far too short to be taking this forum that seriously.
-
To me, makes no difference. I think that the FA cup has lost a lot of it's glamour anyway - no longer the 'must see' occassion that it once was. Can't even remember who won it this year. Playing semis at Wembley is also a crock of shyte too.
-
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that you completely missed the point...

This. As a civie we have been doing this in my company for the last 18 months at least - all it means is that we slash the quality and the product that we deliver to the customer is crap. Who gives a sh it. For HM Forces it means more operational tours, less effective equipment, more urgency to get the job finished, more soldiers being killed. Who gives a sh it.

I really dont think that you can totally blame the mods or admins for the (percieved) decline of the site, they are only reacting to peoples complaints. Therefore the buck stops a, with the poster and b, the reader. If we are going to get so wound up about what somebody might post on a forum, which lets face it, is read by 2 - 300 regulars - then we have some sad contributors. Yes there has to be rules - and no, we dont want the place decending into farce. Simply put - this place just needs a good dose of 'common sence'. There is little doubt that this forum is less interesting and appealing than it was a couple of years ago, and recent events have done nothing to enhance it's readability or credibility - but as I said before - lets not blame the mods. Next time you feel offended by somebodys post, or get into a hissy fit slagging match with a fellow poster - go take a chill pill and sleep on it for a night instead of pressing the 'report post' button. Perhaps once you have cooled off you will then appreciate what it is - an internet forum - nothing else.

Looks like a window cleaners dream...! Also - just think of all the 'back seat drivers', they would have a field day. At the moment you cant see naff all so if the driver prangs it you aint got a clue what happened. But with this, I can just see Ethel and Mable givin' it 'watch out for that one over there' and 'no so fast young man - you won't get there any faster you know'...!!!!!
-
Just flicked through the whole list - there is money in Wycombe, Southend, Bristol, Elgin, Ross County and Walsall. Strangely, not a single mention of our near neighbours down the road - thought those Ruskies were loaded...!!!

Don't think it means a lot to be honest Nick. It states that the Leibherr family fortune is around 3bn, and then explains his own Mali group, of which we have no idea of it's wealth. Irrespective of any figures anyway - you could have the richest owner in the world, but if they are not willing to give the club the money then it means nothing. Yes - I said 'give' - 'invest' is probably not the correct word to use in the current climate.

You'll be fine when it get rammed up your ass then wont you....!!! No, no, no, no instruments or bands - thank you.

Funniest - definately Deppo (whose 'crown' is now vacant). Most Annoying - don't know. I'm not 'copping out', it's just that I tend to 'scroll on by' if a poster annoys me and not take too much notice. At the moment - Hypo, purely for his stance on Deppo.
-
With all due respect Hypo - I can't be assed to reply, but see jawillwills post 334 - I think it probably sums it up. Edit: Oh right - you already have. Guess that didn't work either.... sigh.
-
Nahh - Kevin Davies did, Uwe got the 2nd and the 3rd...! Edit: Actually technically speaking Davies got the 5th and Rosler the 6th and 7th - we were 4 nil down at that point.... ffs...!!
-
It is both. He broke the rules - a ban is warranted, simple. Life ban - draconian - it's an internet message board ffs. Ban him til the start of the season and get him back on here - this board needs Deppo(s).

Wildern - pre '73. Used to be so 'ard the pupils took the register to make sure the teachers had showed up. -
Guy, over fifty, love music, bought up on (influenced by), Elvis, Beatles, Stones, Manfred Mann, Slade, ELO, Clapton, Sabbath, Floyd, Eagles. Basic perception of todays music is that it generally sux. Have no time for the so called 'talent' that is X Factor or BGT. Women who take their clothes off or exploit their sexuality in order to sell music p i s s me off. If you can sing, sing. If I wanted to see a naked lady I would've visited a strip joint. Where are all the Alison Moyets / Lisa Stansfields of the female music scene? Me and music, intermediate guitar player - Yamaha FG730S acoustic, Epiphone Les Paul Custom Plus and Squire Fender Telecaster (signed by Gordon Haskell (google him if you don't know)), Marshall MG30 DFX practice amp with Digitech GNX 3 guitar processer. There's lots of crap about today musically, but it was the same in my day as well (Boney fukin M...!). Gotta say though - really love James Morrison, took his music to the streets and did it the hard way. Voice to absolutely die for - real class, seems a top bloke as well. Thats my 10p's worth in a nutshell - could chew the fat all day about music - but the subject is just so vast, got to do some work today!
