Probably, with a few Harriers on, just for good measure..... huh...??!!!
-
Sounds like we are considering dangerously overstreching our already stretched forces (if that makes any sence). We ask far too much of them as it is - let's pass on this one for a change - let somebody else clear it up.

Bonkers, absolutely bonkers....

They are shocking right now, we are on a great run of form, live on Sky - we'll lose, I bloody well know it, we will lose - it's what we do. A game we should be scaring the shyte out of every other team in this division and we still have the capacity to make a complete bollux of it. Form says we should win at a canter - but I've just got that ol' 'Saints' feeling.....

Driving on the right (i.e. left) side of the road
Micky replied to bridge too far's topic in Motoring Forum
Although there aren't many, roads that is, I believe they drive on the left in the Falkland Islands. -
Watched in sheer horror. It actually saddens and frightens me to see so called 'music' such as this - why on earth would anybody download it from itunes (or wherever for that matter). Lyrically it is hilarious - would love to see her try and sing it live, but honestly who on earth wrote that - a 4 year old? There was some dross in my music loving years, late 60's early 90's, but if that is what is on offer today, I think I'll give it a miss.

Quite interesting reading - just skimmed it but, this sorta caught my eye: Other cases show that the football sector is also used as a vehicle for perpetrating various other criminal activities such as trafficking in human beings, corruption, drugs trafficking (doping) and tax offences. 5. The ML techniques used vary from basic to complex techniques, including the use of cash, cross border transfers, tax havens, front companies, non-financial professionals and PEPs. 6. In many cases, connections with other well-known ML typologies were identified such as tradebased ML, the use of non-financial professionals and NPOs for ML purposes, ML through the security sector, the real estate sector and the gaming sector. Worth a read...

Instead of focusing on the negative why not highlight the positive. There were a few ****s, granted - but they were heavily outweighed (and put down) by the remainder of us that wished your lad well. Perhaps 'thanks' is in order as well - not revenge. Nice of you to call back though - best of luck for the rest of the season.

Got kicked a couple of times today Baz - no DB errors as such, but was unable to find the forum and returned a blank page. Was slow to log on intially, and a couple of times refreshed slowly - but the performance was not all bad. Most of the time service appeared normal / good. But as I say - on the odd occassion I got booted when I tried to refresh - that said, after I was booted - I managed to get back on very quickly, simply by refreshing, no need to relog in.

Lot of fuss over something that is now chip paper. The game. Win. Shake hands. Move on. Next game.

Absolutely nothing wrong in being happy about another teams misfortune, either on or off the field - look at the hours of fun that has been had on the Pompey thread. So, no reason why we should not be happy that Huddersfield are not as strong as they might be. Making light of a serious injury sustained by a player is something else entirely.
-
One man does not a team make. Therefore I would not be too quick to rule out Huddersfield, as somebody else said - this sort of thing can galvanise teams (DIFM anyone...???). Complacency is a dangerous game to play at this stage of the season. As for the lad who got injured - wish him a speedy and total recovery and a long career ahead hopefully.
-
Fine here Baj - no problems at all, service was good all night - thanks.
-
Saints 2 Liverpool 1 - great to see Deano make up for his error by getting on the end of MLT's free kick - typical determination, top player. Good vids.
-
Ummm right - the DM version was ok, but I think I can leave it after that - thanks.

The simple fact of the matter is, as the OP says, it doesn't matter how now - but it's time to deliver. If we are going to do it, it's now or never (well not quite never, but I doubt we will have a better chance for a while). Blow it this season and I can see us being here for a while to come.

I am well aware that both Leeds and Norwich are doing fantastically well in the Championship, but if you take a look at the League 1 table / form, you might find that we are doing less well and the likelyhood of even being in the Championship next season is deminishing fast. Arrogance for assuming that we will be promoted and premature because we have soooo much work to do to get there. Personally I hope your aspirations come true - but right now there are other teams on the South Coast who are showing less arrogance but are much better placed to host this thread on their boards.
-
This bit worries me - we talk the talk, hype is meaningless, meanwhile the two 'lesser' south coast teams in this league continue to walk the walk...
-
You don't need to be at the match to comment on the stats, the table, the figures - the bank manager is not at the deal as the broker makes the money. We could of played like Brazil, Barca, Chelsea, Man Utd - it wouldn't matter a jot because the stats say we got no points, from what was a winnable deal for us. Ergo the punters, whether paying or not, are highly ****ed off.
-
I agree, don't think we would stand an earthly in a play-off position....
-
And for those still wondering, that was the difference between Saints and Brighton. At the business end of the season with the pressure on they go away and grind out a 1 nil win while we grind out a 1 nil loss. I thought I might have to reappraise my pre-season prediction that we would spend a few seasons in League 1 yet - after tonight I'm beginning to feel confident again. Going to be an interesting finish now.
-
Time for some serious wrist slitting now I guess...
-
Win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win should see us nicely through to second place - simple philosophy for a simple game.

Errr it was Defoe, and even I would have been embarrassed to claim this one - but thats strikers I guess...! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnHpg5Wz_Xk

Didn't he also score an absolute screamer in said game from about errr 6 inches as well - or is my mind playing up again....???
