Totally agree, both with this and the OP. Unfortunately though they are now in a no win situation, cynics will see it as exploitation of a tragic situation, whilst others will sympathize with them. But it does leave a very uncomfortable feeling - what next, The Movie, Series, Talk Show...???

Haven't got a clue where we will finish. But what may help us is that we are no longer the 'big fish' so some teams may take us a little less seriously than those we played this season. Yes it's slightly arrogant - but we were probably one of the teams that most wanted to beat, next season will be a little different.

This. Funny how many people forget so quickly. We have obligations to others in this league to do our utmost to win the game - that is what I hope we do and achieve. Besides that, it would be good to win 2nd place outright with points as opposed to goal difference, and to achieve over 90 points. Let the party begin....

O Yes honestly. The fact that you would choose to exercise more caution excuses nothing that this dog dirt did to this family. Are we condoning such behaviour by saying that it is expected - who knows. What I do know is that this is exactly the sort of thing that most football fans are trying to dissociate themselves from. This was mindless violence against a young boy and his elderly relations, not a football firm related incident. If I had any idea as to who carried out this attack, Saints fans or not, I would have no hesitation in shopping them. Sorry, but I we are going to accept this as the 'norm' then we are in great danger of going back to the bad old days.

Don't quite see the logic in that - whether we like it or not - they are Champions, and they have won it with games to spare. Therefore, it has hardly been a struggle for them. I can understand people being hacked off about thier result today, but let's face it - thier work is done and they've ****ed off on holiday. We do ours on Monday and we can join them on the beach for the last game.

Good result, well done to all, but special mention to KD who basically saved some really squeaky bum minutes. Don't do conspiracy theories, but Brighton played them off the park, conceded 3 soft ones (judging by what was said here) - evidently the last game and the Withdean didn't mean that much. No matter - win another game, and so long as Huddersfield dont win 15 odd nil - we are there - under our own steam - all our own work.

Don't think Brighton will do us any favours tomorror, but that's not to say that they will roll over. The bottom line is if we are going to do it, let's do it under our own steam - win our games and the rest takes care of itself - hopefully this will be the players mentality too.
