Ummm very persceptive of you, but let's face it even after all his antics she is still there, must be some 'draw' - wonder what that could be? All of that said - I actually feel sorry for her, but I guess she can always console herself by going shopping. As for Rooney - can't stand him, engineered a pay rise (1 million pound a month..!!), has no respect for the fans - but yes - he has talent (occasionally). Chav - yeah, he always reminds me of that dustbin man that won the lottery and blew it on drink, drugs and stock car racing in his back garden or something.

Errr just a little late..... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?30266-ESPN-Legends-of-the-Premier-League... -
Portsmouth....!!! It doesn't even mention football...!!! Methinks a few on here need to reflect, take a break and come back in the new season when the 'real' banter between Saints and Pompey will start for real.

Featuring MLT tonight.... http://tv.sky.com/legends-of-the-premier-league-matt-le-tissier Don't know if this is posted elsewhere, feel free to delete if so.

Well obviously it's a 'cross' breed - anybody can see that...!!!
-
Any news? Massive, big, large, oversized, medium, average, small, tiny, minute or miniscule even... he asked hopefully....!!!
-
Is that big?
-
If it's on par with the last 'big news' then it shouldn't be on the 'big news' scale at all. A 'little snippet', yes - 'big', most definately not. I wait to be underwhelmed once again!

I totally agree, unfortunately though he would be taking us in the wrong direction. He is a manager who has managed to now go backwards for not one, but two seasons.

Tomorrow ain't Friday.

I'm not backing what he did (allegedly) at all. All I'm saying is that if he completes whatever punishment may come his way, and the club see fit to retain him, then I would happily see him play for us again. Sorry to keep advocating Phil (honestly, I'm not his 'love child'..!) but once sentence has been served, rehabilitation and support is next. People get a second chance - **** that up and then perhaps support starts to wane. I wouldn't cast anybody out over one incident gone bad (depending on severity of course).
-
Thank god somebody has added a bit of perspective to it. As Phil says LB is a valuable asset to the club and it's up to the club to support him as best they can. He won't be the first pro footballer to have done a little porridge (if it comes to that), Jermaine Pennant, Lee Hughes, Marlon King and I believe even Tony Adams have all had free B & B at HM pleasure and gone on to play again. It you do the crime, do the time - I would happily have him back if the worst came to the worst.

Don't be stupid, Deppo is a small black guy in a blue shirt....!

Apart from looking forward to betaing Pompey..

I think that you'll find that most of this is covered in that really short thread in the Lounge - something to do with a Pompey takeover or the like.... -
Ennio Morricone - My Name is Nobody. An 'aquired taste' maybe, but I love it.

Exactly, and the game has been and gone - so let's move on eh. We should be celebrating, not looking for petty bun fights.
-
And therein lays the crux of the matter really. It's the level of irresponsibility coupled with the eventual outcome that is important. As you say, we as parents have all probably done irresponsible things towards our children (mostly unwittingly, I would suggest), but where the possible outcome can be very serious. Dare I suggest it, but in your own personal instance, check out the beautiful but tragic song 'Tears in Heaven' - contrary to what one poster here believes, unfortunately accidents do happen. What the McCanns did was irresponsible but I wouldn't like to offer any opinion either way as to whether they were complicit in any other way. Being a father of 4, I would much rather hold on to the hope (slim though it may be) that someday Maddie will be found.
-
With all due respect to all parties, I would expect that this game was somewhat hastily arranged given that nothing was certain in terms of automatic promotion until quite recently. Therefore some of the personalities that we might have wished to see at SMS probably have agreed to other commitments that they are unable to break. Would have loved to see the likes of MLT and WGS - but as I say, this is probably a quite short notice event.
-
Exactly, and they are ‘MASSIVE’ as well as being ‘The best supporters in the land™’, so what does that make us…?

Would you like to contribute anything of relevance to the debate other than demonstrating your outrage about, what are afterall, merely other peoples' opinions?
