    4th round draw

This for me too. Local, got a few Shrew supporting mates, could do with the banter. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

    Che Adams

Games like today are his big chance to shine. He never looked like scoring, never troubled the keeper, don't think he had a shot. I find it strange that we were very quick to bomb Carrillo out (less than 9 games), but we are willing to persist with Chay. He maybe just devoid of confidence but he needs to start producing more (goals or assists) soon. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  3. Tend to agree with all of this, game showed that our second string are nowhere near prem quality. I also concur about Adams as well, just doesn't look like scoring or even getting into a position likely to do so. A couple of injuries to first team players could see us in deep poo. 4. Exactly, also will be interesting to see how they do in their second season once other teams know what to expect, could struggle. Hope we beat them at SMS and do the double over them. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  5. PC gone mad, slap his wrists, throw a few ****s, but it really isn't necessary to kill a guys livelihood over a poorly considered private joke. We pander to complete idiots at times like this in a vain attempt to look squeaky clean, should have been a good bollocking and move on. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  6. Exactly, I think the point is that none of the clubs at the bottom have thrown in the towel or given up. Even Norwich, who appear to be cut adrift, are still trying to play some decent stuff, and Watford have proved that they are also fast improving. As others have said, 40 points may not be enough for some clubs this year, if you're in the bottom half of this league, it's not a year for complacency. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  7. Tend to agree, it's very tight at the bottom at the moment, and any team stringing 3 or 4 good results together can drag others into it (as we have proved). We are by no means out of this and need to keep our performance levels high otherwise we could get dragged back in. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

  10. All of that said, if Ings gets an injury that keeps him out for any length of time, we are up shyte creek without a paddle. Time for others to start chipping in with the goals. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

  13. He's a young player whose still learning the game, had his confidence knocked and so has rightly been taken out of the firing line. Nothing to see here.... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  14. He's very good at all of the media work that he does, knowledgeable and entertaining, very surprised that he hasn't been given a anchor role on one of the mainstreams. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  15. Are you implying that Shane Long could score twice at Chelsea. Too much Christmas grog mate......! [emoji6] Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  16. Thought he played really well at Villa, but he has to start adding goals. He's a striker and a fundamental part of his role is to finish, if Danny's goals dry up, or he gets injured, there is no way a 1 in 6 striker is going to keep us in this league. We need goals from all over the team, but the onus is on the front players, time for Long and Adams to start showing some composure. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  17. Get a grip, our Jack played better than their Jack today, but that's about the size of it. Their Jack will get an England cap long before ours. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  18. Just got back, this time last year we were singing 'Last Christmas' at Huddersfield and we were doing the same at Villa Park today - hopefully we can get the same end of season result as last year as well. Good game today, when was the last time you saw us 3 nil up away from home (Skates excluded of course...!). Everybody put in a shift today, lots of harrying and not letting them settle on the ball, won tackles and controlled the game pretty much throughout. Danny Ings will probably get the plaudits and MotM for his two goals and probably rightly so, but big shout out to Jack Stephens today, much maligned on here, but he played really well today. Was strong at the back, got across on the cover and chipped in with a goal as well. Yeah Villa are poor, and yeah we did make some mistakes, but on the whole fully deserved the result and the 3 points. When it came to Grealish we pretty much tripled up on him and nullified the threat - he got the goal (good volley) but that was pretty after the game was won. We looked like for a little while that we might do our collapsing act after they scored but actually kept it tight and saw the game out quite comfortably. The Holt End were pretty much silent for the entire match which is always a good sign when you're away at Villa Park, meanwhile the travelling fans were having another round of 'Last Christmas'. Excellent away day - 3 points - Merry Xmas everybody....!
  19. The amount of games left is not the issue. It's the amount of winnable games, and for our lot that is very few. We get into good positions and inevitably bottle it and throw the points away, or we do like tonight, fail to show up for the game. After the first two minutes today you could tell that there was no way we were going to win that game, and that's how it transpired, it was so predictable. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  20. This. Don't think there would be very many decent managers wanting to gamble their reputations on trying to keep this lot in the premier league. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  21. Jamie Redknapp on Sky, picking out our players who didn't do enough. No shame some. Very short memory. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  22. It's it wrong that I was actually laughing out loud about just how bad we looked at the end...? Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
