  1. Walter De Gregorio getting rattled Lots of British journalists going at them "Is it not the case that they damaged party is the billions of football fans?"
  2. 2 separate investigations going on. This is fantastic. Swiss going after the WC bids, the Yanks going after the launderers, racketeerers...
  3. From the Conference. FIFA "started" this investigation last year. They lodged a complaint with the authorities. (Of course you did) FIFA "welcomes this process" and "cooperates fully" In this context, FIFA is "the damaged party", we are providing all the information. "We are happy" that this is happening. "FIFA is the one suffering in this". Basically, FIFA saying that they're squeaky clean and initiated this whole thing. Journo questions coming up
  4. He's already worming his way around the FIFA members, trying to get a postponement. This obviously isn't good for him. Oh well.
  5. What you said.... x 10,000
  6. Fellaini, without doubt. Every game he pretty much gets away with assault... didn't at Hull though. I don't wish ill on any player but for him I always make an exception. A snide, sneaky bully... someone should properly stick one on him.
  7. Documents seized at FIFA HQ. Awesome.
  8. Worth noting too, that the new U.S. Attorney general (appointed only a month ago), was leading this investigation before she was appointed.... ...grab the popcorn
  9. Just read the focus of the charges will be on the Qatar bid, but the corruption goes back two decades. The despicable Jack Warner and FIFA VP Jeffrey Webb is among the arrests. And apparently because the corruption has involved USD as the currency, it gives the Americans perfectly good reason to nick the bastards, otherwise it could have got a bit messy, for example; an American telling a Swiss to arrest a Tongan on something that happened in Ghana. The currency thing brings it all nicely under the umbrella. Surely they can't go ahead with their elections now, surely???
  10. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/05/27/sports/soccer/fifa-officials-face-corruption-charges-in-us.html?referrer= Beautiful article. Hopefully if they're lower ranking officials they'll sing like a canary and bring the big boys down with them for a lesser sentence. This was great news to wake up to.
  11. this is fantastic...USA USS USA
  12. I thought Niall Mason had already joined Villa?
  13. that is a vile article. Looks like it truly is never their fault.
  14. seems like every time he's not in Hampshire he's talking about moving .... Tbf, he's earned a move. 30 mil minimum.
  15. what was it the United fans sing? "Always the victim, it's never your fault"
  16. there is talk of city resting a few but their development side is playing United's on Saturday so that's a match that could in someway impact what players we'll face 24hrs later. Might be worth just keeping an eye on man city's official Twitter etc.
  17. sterling has more potential to go the other way and end up plying his trade for Norwich or west ham in 4-5 years then he has to go and become the hottest property off thexe isles since bale. Immortalise my words and revisit them in four years, I bet I'm not far from the truth.
  18. Loads of people here massively disrespectful to RL on here... the bloke's been underused and when played, misused on a grandiose scale. He's not "lost it" by any means and I'm aboslutely sure whatever level he plays at next season, he'll score on a consistent basis. Christ, if we based his few fleeting appearances at Liverpool as him getting worse, than I dread to think what you lot consider Balotelli's level of ability.
  19. Jesus H, it's a football shirt you bellend, just sign it... it really doesn't matter.
  20. Evidently not but as a grown adult, you still can't let this one go.
  21. Saints haven't. Stoke, Sunderland etc have?
