  1. Ummmmmmm I'd take you up on a bet that he plays at the very highest level almost the entirety of his career. He looks like an adult in a kids game, sure but there's nothing in footage to suggest that his obvious physical/height advantage is the reason he's excelling. If anything, it looks like he's quite highly rated because he genuinely is talented.
  2. Yup, doesn't exist. You've all been Vanilla Sky'ed.
  3. Get your bingo cards ready... Striker explains why he chose Pompey There were other offers, but this place appealed to me massively" Matt Tubbs He scored against Pompey on Boxing Day. But that trip to Fratton Park meant Matt Tubbs did not have to think twice about which side to join in January. The striker was then on loan from Bournemouth with AFC Wimbledon, where he netted 15 goals in the first half of the season. However, Andy Awford moved quickly to snap up the 30-year-old when he left his parent club a few days ago. And Tubbs is looking forward to making his Blues bow in this weekend’s League Two clash with Newport. He said: “I played here on Boxing Day and there were 17,500 inside the ground – this place is massive. “It’s a fantastic club, we’ve got a new training ground and I knew a few of the lads already from previous clubs. “There were other offers, but this place appealed to me massively and I can’t wait to get started. “I’m glad that the move didn’t drag out over the whole of January. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible. “I’ve had my first training session with the manager and his coaching staff and it was high-intensity, which is what you want as a player. “There’s a lot of healthy competition for places here which means you can’t afford to take your foot off the gas. “But I’m confident in my ability and I can already see that the lads here are going to create a lot of chances for me. “I’ve always said that sometimes things won’t go your way, but there’s no excuse to not work hard. “If I give 100 per cent in every game then I can create my own luck and hopefully score a lot of goals for Pompey.” Tubbs has joined a side sitting 15th in the table, but believes he can help improve that position. He said: “I’ve not come here to be part of a mid-table League Two squad. “The calibre of this squad is great and there’s no reason why we can’t push towards the play-offs.” In summary:
  4. I'm sure mancinis awesome man management skills are gonna work wonders there :-/
  5. If Henderson can command a £20m fee, f()ck knows what Morgan is worth.
  6. Nailed it. Glad to see the end of his "Roy of the Rovers" style selfishness at international level, albeit about four or five years too late. He's a "wow" player but there is far more undervalued over overlooked players of his generation that were a lot, lot better.
  7. Totally agree with that. Though I'd say Lampard can actually still play at a high standard, Gerrard has been on the wane for four years at the very least.
  8. If I can somehow get a file copy of this then I could upload it....
  9. Haha, after the first question I turned to my dad and asked "Can this bloke climb any further up his a***?" Turned out he could. It was cringeworthy.

  16. Dybala has all the hallmarks of a great striker. He's young and still finding his consistency but he'll be a top player - though definitely not in the same bracket as Ronaldo or Messi. He'll go for that much eventually, but not this season. Shame if we don't have a dabble cos he'd fit our system... Not just a striker but a good all round team player. And yes... He does share similar attributes to Aguero! He took a little time to settle and get going but Dybala will defo become a natural goalscorer in time.
  17. He's a league one keeper, sadly ... Got great protection in front of him tho
  18. And boruc is at Bournemouth. :-/
  19. I live in utter fear of seeing Glen Johnson playing for England again.

  24. Yup we'd be fourth pot assuming we get there so we'd likely be up against a couple of real big heavyweights followed by a Basel or Roma. . I'll go for ... PSG, Juventus, Basel, Southampton.
  25. Vargas would fit in to our system well.
