  1. No doubt Morgan and Wanyama are first choice but how about a little fore thought for the summer? We might lose one or both of them and he'll be good to have around if th st happens. Never really let us down and finding an understated quality footballer like Cork would be very difficult. He's better than any other English options out there - Colback, Delph, Henderson etc.
  2. Amazing to see Jack is now rated as surplus by many on here. Quite a few had him in front of wanyama before the season started. And now he's fallen behind Reed and Ward Prowse too. Still our third best midfielder imo
  3. Smart signing. Another player with great technique... Will be interesting to see if he can adapt to the Prem
  4. --------------------Forster Clyne-------Fonte---------Gardos------Bertrand -------------Reed----------Davis Elia----------------Cork----------Tadic ------------------Pelle Subs: K Davis, Yoshida, Ward Prowse, Targett, McQueen, Seager. Cork in advanced midfield role like v Newcastle at home to press Swansea
  5. Cheers Gem, reading that has made me even more jealous of them. Our owners are real scumbags, aren't they? Please, Portsmyth fans, tell me what kind of tank Markus commanded in WWII again....
  6. Nope. Feel like the work experience kid being bullied by his cruel mentors
  7. Do you two ever give it a rest?
  8. I literally don't know whether to bite at this trolling or not
  9. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/eljero-elia-tells-southampton-boss-5025621 I like the cut of his jib. Saints not good enough for Lovren, Lallana but definitely good enough for Eljero ?
  10. Feeling particularly jealous and bitter today... all I did was a have a glance on their website at their fantastic stadium, fans and players. Why can't that be us? Oh, and the history as well. Dayum, pa, dayum, ma... why did you have to bring me up a Saint?
  11. Great upcoming player... Hope so
  12. Haha, thanks... I think it's fair to say I should have said #itshappeningbutnotasIexpected On a serious note, absolutely made up. If I had the time in the day to write a full retraction and apology, I would. I don't. It appears I have been very, very wrong... and I've never been happier to be so wrong.
  13. Dayum that bench
  14. He's been absolutely pivotal in everything we done so far. he'll score again soon. Amazing contribution in recent weeks and the unluckiest player in the Prem when it comes to hitting the woodwork.
  15. Bony-less Swansea will still be difficult, but their form is pretty dodgy at the moment. 1-1 or 1-0 Saints. QPR half decent at home and scrapping for their lives... Though we should start to get our injured players back by then. 1-1 or 2-1 Saints. West Ham a dangerous side now they've hit their stride. Good attacking options so we'll have to keep it tight. 1-1 or 2-1 Saints. Liverpool also hitting some form now and now blobfish face has figured out Coutinho is their key player. Sturridge could be back by then too. That said, this game is sandwiched between their Europa league games. Would be great to smash these tests though. Don't see a draw, it'll be decided by a goal either way. 2-1 Saints or 0-1 Liverpool. West Brom... Will be a lot tougher now Pulis is in charge. Will be tight and I suspect they'll test Forsters weaknesses. 1-1 or 2-1 Saints. We should be far too good Palace and if they're midtable by then, then perhaps we might roll the over comfortably. 2-0 Saints. Having said that, we could still conceivably post 6 losses such is the different permutations, flash points and randomness of this year's Prem.
  16. Just to take the p1ss out of myself a bit.... #itshappeningbutnotasweexpected
  17. Just watched that video.. damn, I miss J-Rod! Was just beginning to really carve out a name for himself...
  18. If they can be kept quiet for 45-60 minutes you can guarantee their fans will be on them. Hopefully we can keep it tight and keep it at 0-0 and nick a goal. Better still, hopefully Adrian Durham is covering the game
  19. Seen plenty of games between the bigger games that were far, far duller. Sunday was great for football fans who know a bit about the game, a true tactical masterclass. If it were Liverpool that had done it it'd have been a wnkfest
  20. haha, ideal scenario would be them to need a point to win the league and us a point to qualify for CL.. and keep United out of it. One big party in Manchester!
  21. If we do qualify, there's a few permutations I'm not sure on - can anyone help? If we finish 3rd, we don't have a CL qualifier but if we're 4th, we'd have to do a qualifying round, right? And with our coefficient not being very high or whatever, wouldn't we be one of the unseeded teams, meaning we'd prob be drawn against possibly very tough opposition?
  22. Still being trolled then, hahaha. Happy I'm wrong.
  23. Utterly amazingly immense. So proud and happy, contrary to what some of you might think on here of me. Not that that matters.
  24. Offered a while ago just applying a bit of pressure by going public
