Thing is though, he won't go until he walks. He's probably the safest England manager, ever. Doesn't ruffle any feathers at all, so suits the FA blazers down to the ground. Shame Hoddle will never get the chance again....
-
But on whoscored.com, they give an alternative squad... GK: Forster, Hart, Heaton DF: Jones, Tomkins, Smalling, Rose, Baines, Gibbs, Clyne, Trippier MF: Cattermole, Mason, Henderson, Noble, Barton, Sterling, Sam Ameobi, Young, Lallana ST: Crouch, Kane, Austin, Rooney, Berahino

Based on stats from the EA PPI (!), this is the best squad Woy can pick.... GK: Forster (un-til yesterday, sadly), Hart, Green DF: Clyne, Baines, Cresswell, Bertrand, Trippier, Cahill, Jagielka, Dann MF: Sterling, Henderson, Downing, Puncheon, Colback, Lallana, Milner, Mason ST: Kane, Austin, Rooney, Berahino, Ings, Welbeck

Thank you, Whitey. I'm a bit bemused that people just can't seem to let go of certain things about posters and for want of a better term, incessantly bully them on here. Being of, er, less sensitive stock it doesn't bother me as much as it does amuse me.... Though it's very said that people find the need to do it... A gap in their real lives perhaps? I'm desperately delighted what I said didn't to go any further in the summer and pleasantly astonished by the way the club have performed. Despite this, I shouldn't have to beg for the rights to have an opinion on the team, the club, it's fans and it's players from anyone, neither should someone's opinion be denounced because of one or two posts on an internet forum. Anyway... Back to the topic, perhaps? I'm game to debate...

embarrassment? It's an internet forum. Literally the only people on here who get their knickers in a twist over other people having differing opinions are those who constantly snipe on the sidelines. No biggie if what I said in the summer didn't happen... I'm fact, I'm delighted it didn't. No biggie if I don't think Forster isn't a very good goalkeeper, I'm not alone in that school of thought either. But instead of accepting someone's opinion, there are those on here who would rather rile, mock and snipe from behind their computers. Good luck to them I say. Seriously, the people on here sometimes...

For what it's worth I agree with you.... None, most likely. In fact, I'd go as far to say almost the entire league has better options as first, second and third choice when it comes to goalkeepers. For example, I'd much rather have Schmechel and Hamer, Fabianski and Tremmel or Adrian and Jaaskelainen then our two or three. We did have one of the best in the division at one point.... Shame we had to p1ss him off. All down to KD now, good luck Kelvin.

That's your opinion, not a fact.

Proper little cry baby about Boruc aren't you?
-
Who could blame him, tbf. Hope we can though...
-
I just don't rate him. Lol at you for thinking you've "worked me out"

The bloke does my f()cking head in. No idea at all. Hart, Darlow, Heaton Bertrand, Gibbs, Clyne, Cahill, Jagielka, Shawcross, Trippier, Tomkins. Well, I'm not going to say it again after this. He's at best, average . There's plenty better out there. Our defence truly does mask his true abilities. Our best goalkeeper is out on loan.
-
Is it really? Is it?
-
A few in the Champ better too.... Marshall at Cardiff etc. Stekelenburg or Begovic would be a good shout in the summer.
-
League One goalkeeper with a couple of Premier League attributes. Not that much at fault yesterday. Hes better than Gazzanigga, but that's not saying much. Most of the goalkeepers in the Premier are better than him; Begovic, Adrian, Heaton, Schmeichel, Foster, Lloris, Ospina, De Gea, Cech, Courtois, Hart, Krul, Howard, Speroni... Prob fabianski and mignolet too. Our superb defence masks his vacuous deficiencies.
-
This is why we signed Djurcic .. he's not anxiety ridden and beset by final third ****wittery so he'll likely prove invaluable at some point. Feel for Pelle. Just needs a goal, that's all. His downturn in form almost correlates with our struggles to get a goal. Can't wait for Liverpool to try have a go. Keep Coutinho quiet and the game is ours.
-
Nothing to do with whu defending well imo. It's us. As I said above, we need to loosen up. Once we get a couple of goals, we'll start playing again.
-
Don't think its a reason to panic however disappointing the result. Plenty of opportunities v Hull, Villa, Palace, Burnley at home. Players just need to loosen up, going forward it looks like we're tense and it comes across as lacking in imagination. It's not, they're just anxiety ridden. Just need one or two goals in the next home game...
