  1. I've stopped going there now - only rare occasions do I make a sacrifice (friends birthday) and thankfully, they've now seen the sense of avoiding all the trouble hotspots in town (which pretty much rules out everywhere with the exception of Oxford Street). ****ing pikeys.
  2. They get everywhere! Sweeping generalisation, so my next best guess would be a 35-50 yo, sweaty, golf chained, beer-bellied faux-yachty type who took offence to someone who is idolised more than himself. Just a guess... (if that's wrong, can I have one more?)
  3. I would say Southampton, IMHO, is one of the worst for it in my experience. Never been to Cov, but of course, you're defo right when you say there are ****heads everywhere.
  4. I hate to repeat the same mantra I've been saying for quite a few years now but Southampton in particular is top-heavy with JLS lookalikey tough guys who get a bit cocky when they've had a drink or their perma-tanned brainless **** buddy has just given them the elbow. I'd bet my balls that it wasn't Rickie who has a discipline problem, it's probably more to do with how many f()cking c()nts there are in Southampton. Christ, I sound angry but I'm really not surprised anymore. The city is, quite frankly, full of utter pr1cks.
  5. Yes, me too, I'd like to know... but I have my hunches...
  6. Another victim of this fawning, pretentious city full of f()ckwits?
  7. You probably don't see many comments about him on here because the football know-it-alls decided to write him off on the basis of a few moronic Celtic fans opinions....
  8. I give up.sometimes. I assume none of you have seen him play in the past four years? He's been utter gash for ages. Would rather any of our current left backs
  9. Bill Kaulitz. I'd suckle at his sauerkraut.
  10. So, being gay is a problem to Portsmouth fans is it? FWIW, I think you'd find 3,000 fans swaying in co-ordination is better than 3,000 empty seats. PMSLROFLCOPTER@Ho Bag.
  11. McDonald's in Billington Gdns?
  12. Lallana should tell Pearce to poke it if he's offered - Pearce had the opportunity to pick him for England but instead went with a horrifyingly insipid midfield of Rose, Muamba, Rodwell, Henderson... Premier League nudgers and nurdlers... not one of them possess the kind of talent Lallana has. Plus, we could do with him being "fresh"
  13. Better than anything the Aussies had to offer in the last Ashes and probably still will be by the next one. Absolute class.
  14. It's been a while...
  15. Totally agree. We should be aiming for top European keepers like Valdes, Casillas and Buffon, not this no-hoper. What would a FotB do?
  16. ... or they could at the very least now concede that it was a good plan executed well. I doubt it though, I'm sure they'll slip off quietly into the darkness, awaiting the next "drama" to unfold, returning once more to offer their pearls of wisdom. Well done the police btw.
  17. But where are the FoB's to confirm this? They all told us it was going to be a disaster. No, they assured us.
  18. I don't understand why peolple don't want us to go up, that's absolutely mental. If we don't go up, there is a good chance of we'll lose a lot of our better players and face the disruption of having to try and replace them. If we do go up, we get £60m and have a fantastic chance of staying up considering the poor quality of the EPL. And if we don't stay up, we go down with £60m in the bank which will give us a better chance than "building" for another season in the NPC. Absolute no brainer. PS: We have enough players in our squad who can hack it in the EPL. 3-4 additions short of being competitive, we're not too far off Norwich's q
  19. Guly compounded a bad performance with that poor defending and I was wondering why he wasn't replaced at HT. Irrespective, mightily proud that apart from that moment we didn't bottle it and were the better team. Skates as always jammy, but we'll do them at SMS.
  20. Whilst I don't think he should be anywhere near the top 100, Jonno Quick has to be given a special mention for sparking off the MK Dons recovery and ultimately, rescuing us from a very, very dodgy position.
  21. Abso-bloody-lutely spot on.
  22. Bugger.
  23. So you didn't do one today then? I've scraped by today, 6 down, 3 to go now so hopefully it'll come in tomorrow; Manchester Utd v Wolves Liverpool v Q.P.R. Arsenal v Everton Celtic v Hearts Sporting CP v Nacional da Madeira Borussia Dortmund v FC Kaiserslautern Malaga v Osasuna Lille v Dijon AEK Athens v PAS Giannina
  24. Anyone got any accy's today? I'm going for a 9 team (8/9 fold accy), teams emboldened to win; Manchester Utd v Wolves Liverpool v Q.P.R. Arsenal v Everton Celtic v Hearts Sporting CP v Nacional da Madeira Borussia Dortmund v FC Kaiserslautern Malaga v Osasuna Lille v Dijon AEK Athens v PAS Giannina £16 stake (£9 on the 8 fold, £7 on the 9 fold) pays £208.60 Anyone else having a punt this afternoon?
  25. Haha, well, yes, in hindsight, it was a tad dramatic and out of character. Truth is, I enjoy coming on here too much to forsake logging on. That said, doesn't Dune have a smidgin of a point?
