Danny Fox was found wanting in the Prem and was about half-decent in the Championship - not for his defensive contribution but for his assists - which, I believe, was in the double figures. Good little player in the npc but like Hammond, Sharp, Hooiveld et all who all contributed massively to our promotion - came up short in the Prem... and moved on. Thanks for contributions, thanks for the memories. No need to make ridiculous comments about them - especially when considering Lee Todd played for us, who was genuinely abysmal.

I’ve been saying this for seasons... there are so many good players at reasonable prices out there - we don’t have to spend £20m per player to get one. Look in the 2nd tier leagues there’s plenty who can make a step up. Our problem has been the recruitment for a long time. Hopefully wee Ross wasn’t the problem and perhaps now his shackles are off...

We are still going to see mistakes from players as were playing braver football now, passing forward instead of the easy option... we should back the players not give them sh1t for misplaced passes etc but this is the best performance I’ve seen in 3-4 years

That statement was absolutely massive. He is correct. Teams do take their foot off the pedal when the games all but done and dusted which would suggest we’re going to play with serious intensity whatever the score line of a game - though it’ll take some time to implement (fitness, tactics, personnel)
