Saints vs Derby - FA Cup 3rd Round Replay Thread
Crab Lungs replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
I’d say anyone would struggle to get motivated with that twerp Pellegrino in charge -
I think a lot of people on here don’t like him cos he’s the sort of person who’d wobble and crumble in his presence.
-
I think you have to see the two sides of his reign. Commercially and financially not great - off the pitch was a bit of a mess. On it, he clearly had a vision to try and break the glass ceiling (which unfortunately was undone by the Leicester title win and the big clubs upping the ante on transfers). He could clearly attract quality here with his vision and I think his intention was to keep them.... but that vision changed when Reed took over - who thought, wrongly, that we could regenerate every season by replacing quality players with unpolished diamonds or in Hoedt case, unpolished turds.
-
I like Gallagher and I like Reed. Gallaghers the sort of footballer that you sell for 2m and he gets sold on for 20m a couple of seasons later
-
And being legitimately cr4p, which is also another problem
-
I don't think football works like that. Jesus. H. Christ.

Unified. So glad that mega colossal pr1ck Hoedt is out of the picture. Incredible win considering the one man deficit, suspensions and injuries. Ralph, what a guy -
How’s the new stadium going?
-
Look, man, I don’t think that’s the only area
-
Yep.

Bloke is absolutely full of sh1t. What an arrogant turd. Could muck in, decides to just waltz around instead.
-
I’d imagine he’s still turning towards the exit door. Give him time.

Is it time to give Angus Gunn a run in the PL
Crab Lungs replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
Does my head in. This bloke is pummelled for 90 mins every game, with all the action he sees and all the cr4p he has in front of him it’s no surprise he’s a bit wobbly, if that. He’s saved ya countless times but none of the weirdos on here (with the exception of a few with a brain) saw how lethargic some of our outfield players have been. No instead, they’d rather give McCarthy sh1t and push forward a GK no one has seen play but everyone is convinced is better. Forster was never in question for 2-3 years on here until last year when everyone realises, finally, he was utter turd. -
Don’t think he’s wrong much. If this was a Hughes performance the reaction to this post would be different. We were embarrassingly atrocious. At least RH has bombed out hoedt and he took lemina off, who couldn’t have given two ****s today - like my dad had been saying for ages. That was like a training match for city... irrespective of how good they are, being bossed so convincingly on your own turf is sacrilege. We’re about two components away from being the next Villa or Sunderland. This manager obviously has something about him so needs to be backed, get him the players he wants, ship out the passengers and put some Fukkin pride back into this football club.

I swear alot of the people on here have never kicked a ball in their lives. -
I think he’s saved us enough this half tho
-
Same people who said Forster was great and Emery is a brilliant manager, no doubt. IIRC, I think MLG might have argued it was a good fee. Surprise.

Yep, mental. Danny Fox was found wanting in the Prem and was about half-decent in the Championship - not for his defensive contribution but for his assists - which, I believe, was in the double figures. Good little player in the npc but like Hammond, Sharp, Hooiveld et all who all contributed massively to our promotion - came up short in the Prem... and moved on. Thanks for contributions, thanks for the memories. No need to make ridiculous comments about them - especially when considering Lee Todd played for us, who was genuinely abysmal.

Josef Martinez please.

LOL mega club, first for everything Everton.
