  1. All I can say is... ... from getting it so wrong last week he got this selection so right. The defensive five, or three, were superb. Valery is growing in stature and is looking almost replicating Bertrand's industriousness down his side. The three centre halves were superb; and Bertrand's dynamism and workrate on the left was superb. You would be concerned if we were to lose Redmond, who is such a creative spark though. That said, our new aggressive approach from Hojberg and JWP, who are no longer just shuttlers, is a telling transformation of what they used to be. As a supporting cast to a lone striker in a seemingly defensively set up team, seeing them excel in advanced positions is evident then they have so much more to their game than we've previously seen. Additionally, they both are now switching play quickly and accurately - there does seem to be a confidence in their own abilities and trust in their judgements which we'd seldom seen previously. And Bednarek... jesus, he just gets in the way of everything. And to think we spent 16m on Hoedt and left him out for 18 months... They looked ********ed and dripping in sweat at the end of the game, that's the minimum we want to see. Well done Saints. PS: someone beat me to the post match thread... so if mine could be shunted or closed... ta!

  5. Loooooool at that description.
  6. Good. F()ck off.
  7. This has got my goat for a long time but what exactly is going on these days? Non-binary, mx, dddfgender neutral - what is all this? Why are people identifying themselves as helicopters and why are there people advocating giving hormones to kids (pre-pubescent) because they feel a bit more female or male. I couldn’t decide at 16 what I wanted to do with my life, let alone being four and switching genders. Seriously... I’m just watching this awful panorama programme and I’m not feeling any sympathy for a lot of who is on there; all I’m hearing is the self-absorbed wailing of messed up kids and people enabling their flippant whims. By all means, be who you are, smash who you fancy and be an individual.... but a some of this seems to be some form of deep-seated attention seeking from a very, very messed up generation. And apparently...by enabling this is meant to solving issues. Don’t see it myself, I just see it creating more confusion and more of this weird, everyone is offended by everything snowflake culture.

  9. Yes but Gunn is the new sewpa-dupa hero in the world of goalkeeping. Yes he is he is he is he is.
  10. Dangerous game for us. We have to win, they're all but f()cked and have some big game players who can handle pressure (or have shown that with the clubs they've been at in the past). We've lost a league high 17 points from winning positions this season. Can't help but think 1-2 reverse.
  11. In a way I'm glad this is happening. This malaise has to go mainstream. We've been treading water but slowly getting more tired over the past few seasons; we can't keep our head above water for much longer without major changes. Oh, but before we do that, we'll have to sell to buy, right? We're 'kin lucky we've still got a few players like Bertrand; poor f()cker should have ditched us a while a back - those that have before him, who can blame them looking at the absolute mess this club is. No structure, strategy or plan. Just winging it with a load of people mugging a living - but hey, at least we provide great little media catchphrases. "on the rise" - oh f()ck off you pretentious c()nts. The arrogance of the club is also on another level too; still living off the past glories of blooding Shaw, Lallana et all and lauding their innovative black box which found Mane etc... you can f()ck off too with your **** small database football manager save. F()ck off. 95% of the cr4p we're in can be laid squarely at the moronic decision-makers at the club. Disgraceful, disgusting, clueless cretins - from recruitment to the owner right down to the pathetic media team. All of you, f()ck off.
  12. Glad someone else doesn't see him through rose-tinted spectacles. £250k, iirc. Poor old Lawrie.
  13. Yep, should do the decent thing and pay up now.
  14. Fantastic work by Hoedt for the third Levante goal, plus an extra merit point for him impersonating an oil tanker on the fourth. A special mention also goes to his hissy fits for the first and second Levante goals. If anyone thinks there is actually a decent player there somewhere they are mental.
  15. So it appears the general consensus is f()ck off, Gao et al. If only it were that easy, eh.
  16. Don’t worry - we’ve give five debuts to children from the academy! Yay us!
  17. This.
  18. Look at this place. And on Twitter, Instagram. Absolute morons. People blaming Bertrand solely for the loss and others agreeing. Just so many stupid stupid people. As for that tw4t making the gestures, I hope he got filled in, I really do.
  19. The Saints social media have been sucking themselves off about our youngsters since Ralph started playing them. No humility, no dignity... just pretending it’s all part of a plan. Absolutely sh1t football club.
  20. This club really has a a massive swell of bellends.
  21. Out of interest, is there anyone who actually wants him here? Is there any counter argument?
  22. I’ve no idea how that is meant to cheer anyone up.
  23. Walk would be better.
  24. He is so terrifyingly laughably bad. I genuinely feel empathy for him, unlike Hoedt
  25. Nice hair though, I’m sure we’d all agree. Especially him.
