Not really. A lot of people struggle to see the concept behind football and how to coach to pattern play and how that effects a team you send out to play. It's like having an argument with a dart board.
-
Wow, you sound like a nice chap. If you read back on my posts, I'm pretty conclusive on what I think of Les Reed and I actually agree with some of your points. However, tactically, those performances are on Puel. I have said we're imbalanced and lacking in a solid midfielder at the very start of the season (see my posts). As for being full of sh1t and non-ITK... Hahaha, ok.
-
I know what you're saying and I agree... but there's some people actually buying it. And, saying we were great in the 2nd half... have they ever watched football before? Played it? Coached it? Anyway, I await keenly the Gabbiadini w4nk-fest from the official club Twitter and OS to paper over the glaringly obvious cracks for another couple of weeks.

People who are saying we played well in the first half aren't seriously happy with that, are they? So... produce an insipid first half performance and go in losing but they're happy we came out fighting and grabbed a 2-1 defeat. So, performing that badly in the first place is acceptable, is it? Not the first time this season..
-
As I've said previous, he's just so full of sh1te.
-
Hahaha... with a few Premier League attributes, yes.
-
A veritable smorgasbord of all different kinds of sh1te.
-
Getting in there before someone else bores us with it, totally ignoring the fact that if we don't create good enough chances in the first place, then you could have the best striker in the world up there and it'll make no difference. For example... signing Gabbiadini will make absolutely no difference to our shambolic defensive cover and creativity issues.

Thats a tactical thing, the keep ball rubbish. We've got professional footballers who can and have moved it much quicker in recent years... but... ...all we need is a striker, mate.

I know what you're saying but this constant 'all we need is a striker' is b0ll0cks. This is a tactical problem firstly and a personnel problem secondly... always has been. -

Its unacceptable that it should get to that stage. Shouldn't have to be losing to have a go at winning the game. Pathetic. -

Great tactic when you've only got one person in the box. tres bien -

Yup. Everyone thinks signing a striker is the problem, it's not. Chances are at a complete premium 'cos of the sh1te we play. If we moved the ball quickly and we're expansive, we could have Rain Man upfront and he'll still notch a few. -

Apparently, we played exactly the same under Koeman. Just need a finisher, mate. -

Romeu is OK, but is no Wanyama. That bloke absolutely dominated midfield on his own at times. -

Correct. I prefer my midfielder to all sit infront of the porous defence and pass backwards and sideways. -

Where the f**k are the CB's? Bertrand running across from LB to RCB. Good save by For... oh. -

Correct. Leicester and Wham were a shambles when we played them, an absolute embarrassment. Turning them over was no achievement. -

The performance is solely down to the management and has been all season. Many examples of this all season. The problems are two fold; Imbalanced side; lack of defensive cover, asking players to play in roles that they're not suited to and lack of another CDM Tactics; slow, ponderous play, lacking in imagination etc. There are players there that are creative footballers, so lacking in imagination shouldn't be a problem if the tactics are correct. Instead, we're relying on individuals to pull something out of the bag to get us through games.... Right out of the de Boer/Mancini school of thinking.
