The wireframe panels look better when twinned with our badge so at least the ticket itself is better. Sadly I imagine many are put off by the perpetual bickering, knee-jerk reactions and those who assume their opinions become more special if they post them in every thread, regardless of relevance. Adding some diversity of content would probably render this place a horrendous time sink, so I guess it's swings and roundabouts.

I'm the polar opposite of a bedwetter It was built up as some big reveal, the least that could have been done was to prepare an image befitting an announcement. Perhaps it's just because it jars when compared with the brand-centric approach we've become accustomed to under Mr Cortese's iron rule. I hope they spent a little longer on putting the kit itself together, that's all!

I was more concerned with the silly black blocks behind each logo (the silver version of ours would've had plenty of contrast), but yeah the artifacts around what should be sharp edges looks amateurish too. Bodes well for the quality of the kit (and yes, I'm well aware it'll probably just be a template with our badge/sponsor affixed)

We're currently awaiting completion on the purchase of a 2 bedroom property in Hedge End as first time buyers. Dealt at £157k which is a few grand lower than others in proximity have been going for but still achievable. Happy with everything we've seen and heard about the area and not too much bother to get into Southampton. Apart from a brief spell in Southsea while my girlfriend finished her degree over there, I've lived in central Southampton since I was a student and have just about had my fill now. Wanted to remain close in order to reap the benefits but it surprised me how little resistance I mustered when the lady suggested moving to the 'burbs. I work in Fair Oak and it's dead as can be, albeit pleasant enough. House prices seem inflated there however, same with the likes of Bishopstoke. Obviously there are still plenty of nice places in Southampton so it doesn't have to be outskirts. We preferred to pick areas and hunt from there - otherwise it became tempting to compromise in order to get something bigger that was in a less than ideal location. With a budget of 180k I'd say you'll be fine as it seems to be above the tipping point for a well-located house in decent nick.
