The Southampton Goalkeeping Crisis Flowchart
Barry the Badger replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
We have seen one save that could be described as world class. I've not seen anything else to suggest he's going to be a world class keeper, as much as i would like to believe that. -
Oh dear Mr Vettel might not be champion after all.

I can't see them getting anywhere. The FIA won't change things now if there's any way they can avoid it, and I think it's all too ambiguous to be certain. Also, the Torro Rosso backs right off and pulls to one side, what's he meant to do? Sit behind it? It's not exactly a racing overtake. -
I don't know where your chest is mate but mine is definitely not at bollock level, which is where that pass was hit to Yoshida. Take it on his chest. Brilliant.

How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed? (Part 2)
Barry the Badger replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
I'm firmly in the stick with Adkins camp, but the smug bastards on here after we beat two out of form **** teams is just as ridiculous as those who called for the sacking after we lost to some amazing teams. -
Who's going to start in goal on sunday
Barry the Badger replied to rickylambert's topic in The Saints
Gazza is afforded an awful lot of good will on here, courtesy of being young. If Boruc had played as poorly as Gazza has he would be getting ripped to shreds for it. -
Good work.

How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed? (Part 2)
Barry the Badger replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Those calling for Adkins to be sacked a few games back = premature idiots. Those gloating that we've somehow 'turned it round' = premature idiots. -
It's clear that the prem can be quite a shock to the system for a young keeper. Look at De Gea, he was awful when he first came in, Ferguson took him out of the firing line briefly but kept faith with him and he continues to get better. The only question is whether we can afford to show the same patience at the other end of the table.

My girlfriend spent 2 years in hospital with Leaukaemia a few years back, I have nothing but good things to say about the NHS on that front, but it was an area where money had been invested. When the resources are available the staff are incredible, it's just that all to often they are working with one hand tied behind their backs.

Is it just that photo or is she scary skinny?

Nice to see those 'extra points' we got for going to City are coming in handy. What a shambles.

Looking at our performance in isolation...
Barry the Badger replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
No we weren't. He is right. Lambert had barely touched the ball for 10 minutes and we had just had a lucky escape with a United penalty. Or do you not remember the pen? -
Worked out well for Birmingham didn't it?
-
Perhaps you could enlighten me then?
-
Lol. Tired of losing? After a couple of months? Man the **** up you pussies.
-
Nope, it was a dive. This accepted wisdom that if there's contact of any kind it's ok to fall over is a complete joke. The sooner refs clamp down on people falling to the ground because somebodys bootlace brushed their leg the better.
-
Beattie, Delap, Higginbotham, Lambert. Not exactly experienced internationals.
-
Question. Why was Boruc slated for apparently not making things difficult enough for Defoe, and yet Gazza's scarecrow impression when Darren Bent nipped in for Villa is barey mentioned? Answer. Because people see what they want to see. Gazza isn't ready.
-
Good for him, don't think he's ready just yet.
-
I don't think so. WGS was all sharp wit and brilliant one liners. Holloway just plays the village idiot.
-
What a ****ing header too!
-
I wondered what the cheer was about when he claimed the ball, assumed I'd missed something. Didn't occur to me that people were being utter ****s.

Saints 1-2 Spurs // Post-Match Views
Barry the Badger replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
First half it looked like a cup game between a League 1 and prem side. Bales header was bloody brilliant, unfortunately. Second half spurs thought they had the job done and handed us the initiative. Once we got a bit of momentum we were a completely different team, Nigel needs to find a way to get them starting games with that swagger.
