Eerrmmm, I could have sworn we scored twice. Excellent game to watch. We were by far the better team, so I can understand how some think it was 2 points dropped. However, I had us down to lose this one - so, for me, it is one point gained. Lallana, Cork, Shaw and Chambers all had blinders but the MoM was the Polish 'keeper. No, not Boruc, Szczesny. If not for him we would have won at a canter.

I'm pretty sure Mayuka is on a season long loan. This generally means a loan fee and no recall. Incidentally, he has scored 3 for Sochaux in 14 appearances. All goals came in November. Last match he played was last week - 18 Jan.

VFTT, please pm me an address where I can send a cheque to. I turned 50 last year. Didn't do anything so grand. Just tried to ignore the years by; taking my parents on a holiday like the ones they used to take me to; going to Disney (Paris) with my daughter; meeting up with old school friends; etc. Anyway, good luck and tell where I can send a cheque (can't do paypal from here).

Hmmm, I guess I will have to add it to my list of books to buy next time I am over. I do like to read a nice, funny, book when on holiday in the summer.

You don't think they play together every week in training matches then?
-
Don't forget Guly. He is back in training too.

And a week's wasted wages on their latest loanee. Come to think of it, isn't there a limit on how many long term and short term loanees a club can have in one season? Anybody remember how many they are allowed and how many they have had thus far?

Fully agree.

Didn't deserve to lose by 3. Chambers (Saints) MoM for me. Cup game next, then an easier run of matches (save for Arsenal). Still comfortably in 9th. Hopefully we will get our injured back and put a string of better results together. Now I have had my say I will keep clear of this thread, to avoid the obvious incoming trolling of Glasgow, BS, et al.

Agree with this. I think you can add Fonte too. He has made some vital interceptions/blocks.

Cheers. Excellent stream. Best I've ever seen.

Think yourself lucky. Mrs Minsk works every December 25th (it is a public holiday here but in no way celebrated as in the UK - except as best I can in my home) so I do all the cooking and dish washing. My Christmas dinners are excellent though. Unfortunately no restaurants here do a traditional British Christmas dinner.

Cheers Lard.

He had a decent game yesterday.

He has been playing very well just lately. For the 2 matches I was over for, Villa and Citeh, he was most certainly the most consistent player. A modern day Matt Oakley.

Fully agree. I think AL should go too. For JRod to make it there will need to be a load of injuries, unfortunately.

My father, 76 years old, was very happy with the copy I got him for Christmas. He knew lots of the players personally from years ago and has enjoyed reading about his old mates. Strangely, the fact that I managed to get his copy signed by MLT didn't impress him as much as I hoped, and not nearly as much as the book itself. Cheers FF. Finding a decent present for him is always a hard task but you helped me do it this year!

I thought WHam were at their limit for wages? And that was before they resigned Carlton Cole.
