It started badly, tailed off a bit in the middle and the less said about the end the better but other than that excellent

Yet to join AC Milan, which is surprising as they chased him for 3 years whilst he was working at Saints. Although i hear he is enjoying spending time with his family. He bought his son a lego set, it should have cost £25 but Cortese paid £40 for it, now they spend their days building things and then knocking it down as daddy keeps on saying its not quite right, even when Cortese jnr built the lift which only one lego man was able to use.

But isn't this an OUTRAGE that no saints players made the list?

Fabregas is in for missing a penalty to go with his assist. But Steve Davis Pelle and long don't get a mention despite all scoring game changing goals for their countries. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12010/10028551/who-were-the-premier-leagues-best-performing-internationals

Looking at the some of the names on your Saints collection i find that hard to believe.

Tell him when he gets out there to ask for the playboy.

Great to see commerical income back on the way up, its's going to take a while to rebuild the bridges burnt by the previous CEO who seemed to p*ss off as many people as possible. Plenty of inherited debt as well from the great business man.

He bought FM2015, started a new game as West Ham is now a regular poster on their forums.

“Super computer” predicts final Premier League standings
Turkish replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
You're not wrong old boy. THis will be like heroin for some of the nerdy mugs on here. It'll be this season "we are 54% likely to make the champions league" threads. Everytime the super computer predicts that we'll finish above 8th people will be exicted tapping away about how amazing it is. When we lose a they'll be in dismay at how the data used cant be accurate and is baised towards the big clubs. -
Cockroaches they are. What sort of fans would have completely flip their view on a player? I'm sure If he were to join them he'll quickly become a whipping boy there though, cheered when he's substituted, slagged off all game with their forums full of petty comments such as "what a waste of mane" "I wish he'd f*ck off" "get rid of him now" not to mention labelling him the worst player since Eric Djemba-Djemba. The Cockroaches.

Wanyama and the St.Marys crowd ...boo or cheer ?
Turkish replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
Why? THe greedy fat c*nt threw a paddy a few days before a big Europa league game, refusing to do his job letting down thousands of fans who pay his wages and potentially costing us a one in a blue moon chance of a decent run of games in Europa. Im not a fan of booing players that try hard but arent very good, or those going through a bad spell but ones that do that sort of thing deserve everything they get. Funnily enough no one seemed to have a problem when players like Guly were being booed, being shouted abuse at or ironically cheered, he wasn't a great player but no where near as bad as was made out, a player who always gave his best, played in numoerous postions and wasn't a minutes trouble (apart from his drink driving ban) out yet fans seemed to postively revel in giving him abuse. Same goes for those who scream abuse and ironically cheer the likes of Pelle, Targett, JWP etc -
It seems our notorious home end is making a name for itself. Made it onto Wikipedia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spion_Kop_(stadiums)

Completely disagree. You see goalkeepers at all levels able to make "one for the cameras" type saves. What seperates the very good from the competent are the things fans don't notice or appreciate. Positioning, communicating with the back four, command of the box, doing the supposedly simple things so well the they look simple. Sometimes when you see a keeper make a great save its because their positioning was wrong in the first place. A back four is a much better back four when it trusts its keeper. Obviously making world class saves is part of it but It's those things that make a good keeper a great keeper.

Whats been our best result since being promoted?
Turkish replied to CumbrianSaint's topic in The Saints
Under Koeman we've won at Old Trafford, Stamford bridge and the Emirates and won 8-0 and 6-1 at home in less than a year. Despite all the moaning on here it puts into perspective what an amaZing job he's done to not know rebuild the team but produce results like that. -
It's a thread on Saintsweb, that goes without saying.

Still think Tanadari Lee is going to be a premier league star??:lol:
-
I'm glad you scrolled the thread trying to find me before you decided to post. Especially as you aren't even on my radar. I've posted a lot less recently but its good to know that even those I've never engaged with before on here still keep tabs.

Nothing says I'm a ***** who knows nothing about football like someone who says "and my second team is......."

I used to paricularly enjoy the stats around our percentage chance of making the champions league which were all the rage. Of course all common went out of the window, those that said they were a load of bollo*cks were shouted down. Oh no, some spreadsheet jockey told us we were 64% likely to make the champions league or some other nonsense so this was cause for celebration. Funny how no one has posted the links since April.

1 build a statue of cortese, similar to the one of Jesus in Rio, his arms spread overlooking St Mary's and the club he saved 2. Ban all the Mars bar/wacky/bantersaurus Rex type fans and replace them with good looking, hard and well dressed chaps. Hired in if need be 3. Deliberately Get relegated in my first season, win the championship every year thereafter and refuse promotion to the premier league.

To be blunt mate, if they're so soppy that being told not to act like a helmet stops them going to games then they're probably best off doing something else with their time and money anyway.
-
All this just goes to show what utter *****s go to football these days. It's sh*t, over priced nonsense attended by people you'd avoid in other scenarios. They're either wacky, banter types trying to be characters, helmets acting like c*cks or know I talks who think they're experts and spend their whole time commenting on the game, slagging off the players or banging on about what this player should have done or how the tactics are wrong.

We shouldn't be surprised many found it hilarious. It was only a few of season ago a large part of the Northam end was rolling around the aisles like it was the funniest thing they've ever been involved in when they got to shout 'steeeeeeeve' every time De Ridder got near the ball. Also This Clever ditty is only the latest in a history of hilarious snack based chants to cascade down from the terraces saints fans have been on. 'Look like a wotsit' being the personal low spot for me. When it comes to hilarity our fans certainly hold their own with any in the country.

You can only imagine how epic the #bantz was from the 12 bantersaurus rexes of forums. Pap is obviously the archbishop of banterbury, with Jeff turning up in his bantmobile, if Lou was a footballer she'd be Eric Bantona, Bucks could fill the role of Bantonio Banteras with aplomb. In fact if their meet up was a stage show it'd be Bantom of the Opera. SAdly i dont think i'll ever make drinks with the bantonomists as when it comes to #bantz i'm only a bantom weight.

No need to apologise Adrian, no one gives a sh*t.
