It’s weird is what it is. Why would a football club decide to give away free tampons? I see a few people saying how great it was and other clubs should Follow suit. Why? We believe you should pay £40+ for a ticket, we believe you should pay booking fee on top of this, we believe you should pay to park when you buy something from the club shop, but women at the game should get free jam wrags. Seriously who comes up with this nonsense?

Perhap people now understand why the second half of the season once Van Dijk was injured and Fonte had gone why Puel had to play with such a defensive set up? I made this exact point on TUI yesterday. Seen quite a few say he’d make a good defensive midfielder. I disagree, it’s one thing to carry the ball forward 15 yards from defence with the whole game in front of you quite another to use it effectively with tackles and pressingflying in from all angles in a 100 mph midfield battle. Part of the role of a decent defensive midfielder is reading of the game, anticipation and positioning, Sadly Stephens isn’t very good at either of these things so i don’t see him cutting it as a DM either. He’s a nice, decent footballer but I fear he will become what they used to call a utility player, one who fills in across a number of positions because they don’t have one good one.

This is about right, he’s a decent footballer but he’s not a decent defender. I’ve said this a few times before, part of the reason why there was a bit of a Stephens fan club (claims he was better than Harry McGuire!) was because he has ability on the ball which made some of fans think he is a class act. The fact is he isn’t a very good defender, his heading is weak, reading of the game and positioning are poor. He was thrown in at the deep end replacing Van Dijk with hardly any first team experience which was a bit unfair On the lad however in his two years in the first team squad he’s done little to prove he’s got what it takes to make it a a centre half of anything he’s gone backwards. I’d really like to see him do well but unfortunately don’t see it, maybe a move would be best for everyone but like you say no other premier league team would sign him as a centre back and he’s on too much money for the championship.

As they are on 32 points now they’d actually be on 29 if we’d beaten them. At the time you posted it we were on 15 points so our two wins and three draws which you said were all we needed would see us on 23 points level with Fulham and down already as we’d Get zero points from our last 4 games. 2 wins to stay up “100% on the money” one of the most embarrassing threads I’ve ever seen.

The clubs PR department had tweeted happy Christmas, happy Ramadan, happy Eid, they’ve celebrated transgender day by flying trannie flag yet seem to be ignoring the Jewish special day. Come on pal, we couldn’t have wished for a better run in. with Newcastle win today it is literally every game against mid table teams with nothing to play for and if we really need it a home game on the last day against one of the worst top flight teams in history with the worst away form in the division. Cardiff on the other had have 6 games left, 2 away against direct relegation rivals, Liverpool home and man united away and Fulham and palace. Realistically 9 points form those six would be a great performance from them. If we can’t win two of our next six we don’t deserve to stay up.

The thread is fundamentally flawed from the start. If we are meant to “keep it realistic boys” then how can it be a “fantasy window”? Fantasy by definition is the faculty of imagining things especially things that are impossible or improbable. having a realistic thread is contradictory to the title. All in all this is an epic fail and simply attention seeking as we already have a summer transfer window thread where realistic possibilities are already being mulled over. It’s not always easy to hear what individuals are saying in a 30,000 crowd. Maybe they were saying “slack c8nt” as another Jermaine Wright misplaced pass. Maybe they were having a “big crazy s******” at an outrageous piece of skill from Guly. It’s interesting that in over 25 years of travelling home and away and sitting in all parts of st Mary’s and the dell I’ve never once heard racist abuse directed towards our or any player, yet others claim it’s a relatively regular occurrence. So anyway having heard this abuse what did you do? Did you openly castigate the perpetrator, humiliating them in front of their peers? Did you report it to the authorities, pointing them out to the police to ensure they received their just deserts for their vile behaviour? Or did you get excited about it because you’d be able to talk about it on the internet a few later?

This place is hilarious. I remember being accused of being racist because I didn’t agree with someone the Tanadari Lee would be a premier league star. I seem to remember Danny Fox, Kelvin Davis, Matt Oakley, Gregorz Rasiak, Paul Wotton, Lloyd James, even Claus Lundekvam being a target for our weird fans in the past, but let’s pretend they only get on black players backs to suit our agenda.

The trouble is any saints fans who put it on them will get a ban. Our club seem to be more than happy to fly trannie flags and let away fans in the home end but if anyone decides to put it on them it’s our fans who pay the consequence. Personally I think I’d your an away fan in the home end and you make it obvious who you are the least you should expect is a foam hand slapped round your canister but our club seem to prefer to sell tickets to aways and ban fans who don’t like it. As a non binary human I pm going to claim they assumed my identity to get myself out of a hole should my emotions ever get carried away in that situation in future, not only will I avoid arrest I’ll probably be invited onto the saints fan on the board tops event as a victim.
