I look forward to these claims being dismissed by MLG.
-
According to an agent I heard in the radio the other day his head is already at southampton.
-
Its great that we are even linked with these players, credit to our ambition.
-
He wouldn't pass a medical for a start.
-
Absolutely agree, I mean they could have said they ripped up all the bids and chucked them in the bin, but then sold the players anyway. Now that would be ambition.

I love the fag packet maths that we seen on here from time to time.. So we sell Lalana £25m Lambert £4m Shaw £30m Lovren £20m Schniderlin £30m a leg Pochetino compo £2m Osvaldo £7m = £118m + £35m we had anyway = £153m Sign Pelle £7m Tadic £10m Calasie £10m Forster £8m Virgil £7m Blind £10m (yes blind who is being linked with Barcelona) Vlaar £5m De vrij £12m New left back £10m Danny Ings £8m Redmond £6m = £93m Leaves us with £60m to spend in January happy days. And if anyone tries it on wanting more than £10m for a player they are taking the p*ss coz they know we've got money, they should just sell them and not try and get a good price! this is DISGUSTING I tell thee. This is when we ring up Arsene Wenger for one of our made up conversations about signing Cazrola who hasn't played much or something,

Surely this was ambition? It does matter if it wasn't true or achievable, all that matters was it was said, therefore they have incredible drive and ambition.

It certainly was the best football statue anywhere #butnotasheexpected
-
So who has got theirs and put a selfie on twitter/Facebook? What name did you get on the back? I'm hearing they are small sizes and being recommended to go up 2 sizes, fitted and no room round the middle! Bad luck Alps XXXXXXL for you sunshine.
-
'Ian Brennan has done a fantastic job, it's very rare that I am lost for words but I saw the statue last week and its awesome- a tremendous tribute to the great man. Fans have waited a long time for this and its going to be fantastic. I really believe that this will be the best football statue anywhere both in size and level of detail" Those words never fail

He's not young and hungry though??

Hilarious. Well I remember it being on a Thursday night and getting there late, it being standing room only left and being at the back with everyone singing 'we want branfoot out' at the end I'm pretty sure the red card idea wasn't discussed until later on when the meetings were moved to hulse road because captains corner was too small a venue. BTW it was the legendary nirvana joiners gig that pat will tell you 100s of people were adamant they were at.
-
Good call. Will be said within minutes if the first game.
-
A fans group with a democratically appointed chairman and committee who hold quarterly meetings with members about what fans want, which is then presented to the board. Not hard is it.
-
Yes that's the one, captains corner was packed out. Then hulse road, you're right. See Nick quite a bit at games, nice bloke and a true fan. Good to see he's back as a STH after his shocking treatment by Cortese.
-
Something like that, my mate had just got a car, fiesta 1.4s and he drove us down to the first meeting at that pub in oxford street, then the following ones up by stag gates, good times.
-
Also aid above, SISA were set up to pressurise the then board to get shot of Branfoot, it worked eventually and no one can say that was a negative thing, the problem for them came later, when it appeared some seemed to enjoy the limelight and lost sight of what their purpose was.
-
BTW, good news, after 4 years he's finally been allowed a season ticket again. A victim of Cortese spiteful and vindictive behaviour. Sadly some on here defended this.
-
Read the thread, I was talking about a new improved fans group, not Chorley and his chums. Perhaps the thread should be titled, 'time for a fans group?'
-
'Thats world class' Everytime Rooney passes/shoots from more than 10 yards away.
-
The difference is they are a 'fan owned club' supposedly. We're owned by business people and the fan would be there to represent the voice from the stands not to run the club. Is obviously not expect them to be involved in sensitive financial decisions. If I had to pick one person then it's be Steve grant. Humble , likable sort of bloke, knows his football and not a c+ck like the ones in the power struggle c2006
-
Decent threads locked with no explanation, asked why and deleted. Only the work of one man, surely.
-
The problem with SISA before was that they were set up to get shot of branfoot, which they did so served their purpose. The problem was a few then got drunk on the success and it became political. The actual Idea of SISA was good and effective at first but they lost credibility. I'm fairly sure a new version of intelligent, loyal fans would be well received by the board.
