Indeed, what does he know, not like he's ever done anything in his management career

Some strange comments from Morgan talking about the players wanting success in the Capital One cup and how it can lead us into the Europa League. I thought both competitions were beneath us? http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/11489060.Schneiderlin__Cup_road_can_lead_us_to_Europe/

For all the bleating and whinging about what a clown Samuels is, he's not that much of a clown as all you lot are reading and discussing his articles, which is the point of them.

Man United defending has been dreadful today

Surely it was lucky Pochetino was available when we were looking to replace Adkins then?

I've long held the view that what with the financial, tactical, recruitment, motivational and business geniuses on here this place is a huge pool of untapped potential for any soccerball club looking to recruit staff. We could be playing champions league in a 50,000 seater stadium, paying £15 a ticket with a front 4 of Sam Vokes, wade Elliott, Lukas jutkiewicz and Danny Ings if only they listened to this place more.

Don't forget Franks Cousin kept on telling us he wouldn't accept mediocrity. So he deserves some credit too.

So everything's alright now Is it?

I said at the time if Lallana didn't get off to a good start he'd struggle as the Liverpool fans would start to get on his back early due to his price tag. He's very much a confidence player and at saints he was loved and the main man, he won't be that Liverpool. Still never mind.

Doesn't graziano look lean, handsome and fit. Definitely an upgrade in all areas :-)

So it was an attention seeking look at me thread then. -
Did Cortese Do a Single Thing Wrong In His First Six Months?

The biggest shame is, as you can see from this thread alone, cortese became a divisive figure. With what happened on the pitch and with the academy during his time here he could have been a legend. As it turns our he's gone and the dust has settled a large section of people now of the view that he did a good job but was a c*nt, others glad he's gone with a few still clinging to the belief he is the greatest man who has ever lived. It could have been different. Of course there is no room for sentiment and you need to take a hard line sometimes but the way he treated people, fans, business with contempt and the way his ego ran away with him was a shame for him and for us, it ultimately cost him his job. -

If his record of sacking managers is anything to go be then he can't take another job at the moment due to waiting for his contract to be paid up, he's in the process of starting legal action which will be settled the day before the court hearing, with Kat offering no explanation as to the delay. -

Yep, that's about the size of it. Like all good dictators he duped the foolish majority into believing it was all about him and without him they are nothing and people lapped it up. The clubs PR was awful when he was here, his own was outstanding. -

Some people are still pining for him sadly. -

Sacked Andy Oldknow, banned nick Illingsworth, started to create the culture where good, long term members of staff felt it impossible to work under. Next. -
This is of course true, although I for one am glad they decided to speak out on here. Along with Franks cousin and his insistence that we should not accept mediocrity I'm grateful that they acted and posted about it otherwise who knows what state we might be in?

It'll be part of their easyjet pricing model. £15 gets you into the ground, £20 gets you Into the ground and one use of the bogs, £35 gets priority entry and to blow bubbles as well.

Don't forget everything east from Grimsby down, that is their catchment area. There must be thousands of people in kent, Sussex, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk looking for a premier league club to support!
-
But you're forgetting you can draw an imaginary line from Upton Park down to Brighton, and north round the m25, up the M11 across to the m69 exit at junctions 21 and then Up the m6, across the m62, down the M1 and across to the north Lincolnshire Coast , And there isn't a premier league club in that entire area so with that catchment area they'd be tens of thousands of fans wanting to watch premier league football at the Olympic stadium. Not forgetting they get crowds bigger than us now and are a crap team playing unattractive football. Just imagine if they were playing good football in a nice stadium!
-
Why we spend £30m expanding the stadium and then reduce the price to fill it?
