  1. Yet again you show that you don't know what you're talking about. Oldknow was originally brought to the club by Jim Hone and he was actively involved in trying to find new investors for most of his time here. Liebherrs advisors were one of many he spoke to during his time here. He was brought back to the club by Markus when the deal for him to buy us went though. He left for the second time in about 6 months later as Cortese didn't want him around, he saw his as a threat, funny how most other senior employees didn't last long either when Cortese was here. I remember this being dismiss I here them not being good to work with him at the time You may like my view on what went on when your boy was here but it's all true as many others have confirmed.
  2. Another myth I'm afraid. Cortese gave himself the credit for introducing the club to Markus but the reality was that it Markus was already looking for a club to buy and and there wer numerous other people involved in setting this up far move involved that the dwarf was. Andy Oldknow for example did a great job of selling the club to Libherr and was rewarded with a on the board when the deal went through. Cortese soon dispensed with his services as he was getting in the way of his plan to have total control on the club. Pluto is right, Cortese did a lot of harm to the club when he left. Just coincidence that those very same journalists who wrote gushing articles about us when Cortese was here turned on the club the moment he left? I think not. The way he ran the finances after Markus death was shameful. I often spoke out about this the whole time he was here and was accused of trolling. Funnily enough Cortese still hasn't started his job at AC Milan despite them supposedly courting him the whole team he was here. Instead his sitting back counting his millions he took from us and laughing at how he managed to dupe an entire city into believing he was the messiah when in reality he was an angry little man out of his depth running up someone else's credit card.
  3. I'm on the 11.30 from manchester on match day, arrives in Milan at 2.50. Drop bag at hotel and then out and about so should be una Birra Giseppe by 4.30. Fingers crossed no flight delays.
  4. Absolute quality group. Really happy with that draw.
  5. and the winner of patronising post of the year goes too...... FRIENDLYSAINT For his claims that people who hear stuff on the telly and repeat it verbatim on mongboards in a desperate attempt to appear they know what they are talking about and anyone that doesn't deeply analyse tactics, positions and formations has no greater knowledge of the game than a small child. Excellent work sir and well desrved.
  6. A little bit of advise pal, when you hear someone describe someone as a "number 10" or a "false 9" or anything like this then it means they are a complete and utter crumpet and you shouldn't engage any further with them on any subject. The term came straight for the helmets who also invented terms like False 9 and say things like "tekkers". What it is is an attacking midfielder.
  7. We've won it 3 times, we've won it 3 times The profit transfer window trophy We've won it 3 times Your business model is unstainable (You're so sh*t it's unbelievable) Our balance sheet, is better than yours Our balance sheet is better than yours We've got a transfer window net profit Our balance sheet is better than yours (I've got a shed that's bigger than this) Any more?
  8. "he was entitled to go down" When there is a touch on a player in the penalty area. no he wasn't Since when was football a non contact sport?
  9. When anyone of the golden boys of the premier league makes a sideways 10 yard pass, "Wow, that's a really clever pass, what amazing vision, absolute quality fom xyz....."
  10. It's not real pal.
  11. I've said it before and I stand by it. It's because 90% of the people that post on here are absolutely helmets.
  12. Moans on Sunday morn Todays the day he sworn To sell the best players we no longer own And bring cheap replacements to our home Now he's at the wheel Tell me how does if feel Even though Redmond equalised The system he plays is despised He'll carry on through it all He's Claude Puel
  13. I think you're forgetting that it was posts on here by people like st George that stopped any further sales back in 2014 and pot entirely saved the club.
  14. Talksport - the radio station that has Alex Crook as it's "South coast expert" The station which completely invented a story about Wayne Rooney leaving Man United. I listened to this story develop one morning. Rooney was left out of the Man United side the night before, Alan Brazil started off the speculation by saying "Rooney dropped, does the manager not rate him anymore?" which quickly became "is he on his way out of the door?" an ex player commented that he might be frustrated at not starting, a Manchester Evening News journalist commented that only PSG and Man City could afford him. By the end of the show Alan Brazil was claiming "a frustrated Wayne Rooney is on his way out of Manchester United with PSG and Man City already being linked" It was one of the most blatant examples of sh*t stirring I've ever heard.
  15. We haven't had one yet, i'll kick us off. Peuls gold roads a long road Written off by fans after 15 days The pack on his back is aching Full of Kats cash he's not allowed to spend He's changed our formation Playing a way we've not got players to do He's no clown, he wont back down, everyone knows we're not going down down, down, down, down, down, down Peuls gold....
  16. How do we identify which players to monitor? The scouts must surely see thousands of players a season between them.
  17. Like every season midtable and a good cup run. More than that is a bonus.
  18. I'm pretty sure Charlie Austin is on more than stokes figure Glasgow quoted as well
  19. Turkish

    Claude Puel

I'll take your £50 we will not finish top 6. I'll also go double or quits with you that we finish about other level 4 clubs, such as Swansea. Deal?
  20. And that sums up exactly what's wrong with Yoshida. He can be great for 89 minutes but pretty much every time he plays he makes a sloppy mistake that gifts the opposition a chance. It's happened every season he's been here so it's something that isn't going to go away I'm afraid. It's a shame as he seems like a good guy who likes it here but he really shouldn't be even our third choice these days. As for all the business experts. You don't win trophies for being the most profitable transfer club every season. We've racked in enough money this summer, selling Fonte would be ridiculous for business reasons.
  21. Something about being full of ****
  22. Oh no pal!! July 2012 it was, I've just had a laugh again at them after your "full of sh*t" comment earlier. You pm'd me, subject "deal?" Then asked about sharing info. I gave you an update on the Clyne deal, how much we'd bid, other clubs who were in for him and where my info came from. He signed shortly after. You sent me a load of bo llocks, none do which happened, in return as part of our "deal?"
  23. I agree I am. When I die they won't say he was a nice guy and forget about me. They'll say you can say what you like about Turkish but....... And talk about me for hours. For someone full of sh*t I seem to get an awful lot right. I ran out of posts but put my info on TUI if you want to have a look. In any case is wasn't that long ago that you pm'd me asking if we could share info. I gave you detailed info on Clyne joining us about 3 weeks before he did and you replied with a load of bollo*cks none of which came true, wasn't it pal
  24. As a genuine ITK I can vouch for essruu as he must have the same source as me as I was told this was being signed late last night.
  25. Yet despite his reputation as a transfer superstar not one of our signings was a Mahrez type known gem plucked for a snip. Every single one of the signings we made was an international player already, they'd already proven themselves in the top flight of another countries league. If he'd got us one or two like mahrez, or if he'd got us the likes of Wanyama and Van Dijk before Celtic got them there might be a case to say he's he's got something. As it is he's got us players who cost millions, were already established international players and had experience of top football and in most cases champions league football as well. Anyone we did sign on the cheap was a disaster.
