We were told for much of the season that we should wish we were them. We were told that you can't keep selling your best players and improving, in fact that was the opening gambit on many posts in the early weeks of the season as our rebuilt team found its feet. Everton in particular were a shining light as to what we should aspire to be. Is this still the case or do we now accept that as a club we are in great hands, we have a strategy that works and actually other clubs should wish they were us?

If there is one thing we have learnt on this incredible journey it's that managers come and go but the relentless pursuit of exercise shows no sign of abating. Th club has a clear strategy and this has given previous and current manager an excellent platform to work on. The year on year progression has continued regardless of players, management, scouts, coaches even chairman.
